Lost 34 Pounds So Far

I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that I've lost 34 pounds since the last time I was there on May 29th. I had to make a special appointment yesterday because I had to stop taking shots and temporarily stop taking my pills for Type 2 Diabetes since my blood sugar kept dropping too low. He now has me on only one pill and I'll probably have to stop taking that one of these days as I lose more weight and eventually get rid of my Type 2 Diabetes.

Congratulations! Not an easy thing to do. I've tried (many times) to lose weight. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not.

Eating at least 3 times a day instead of only 2, avoiding soft drinks, and trying to avoid milk products (except cheese on pizza) seems to be working for me so far.

 

 

 

I found your extra pounds. Do you want them back?

 

No, you can keep them. I'd rather have them go to waist instead of letting them go to waste.

 

 

 

Good job! That's a great accomplishment! Do you feel better in general?

 

I feel a little less like an overstuffed stuffed animal, but the blood sugar battle and nearly passing out a few times has worn me out. It's probably going to take a few more days before I feel like I have some energy.

Yeah… I should probably get up to 2, first. :roll: I'm doing better on the soft drinks than I used to, but I need to do better still.

Ouch. Once a day? How does your stomach keep from eating itself?

 

I'm still losing weight. I seem to be losing about a pound a day now. Once in a while, 2 pounds a day.

 

At this time, for breakfast, I'm eating a breast and a thigh of chicken (with a few tomato slices or a handful of grapes), then a Granny Smith apple if I'm in the mood. Peanut butter toast for lunch with some Cape Cod Kettle Cooked Potato Chips. Then a peperoni pizza or a breast and a thigh of chicken (with a few tomato slices or a handful of grapes) for supper/dinner or whatever you want to call it. For a snack, sometimes I eat Cape Cod Kettle Cooked Potato Chips, Ocean Spray Cherry Craisins, or an apple fritter from Granny's Donuts & Sandwiches. I also drink Le Bleu water with all meals and between meals.

 

This is basically what I was eating when I wasn't losing weight, but I was only eating twice a day and I was randomly sprinkling in soft drinks and milk products.

I had to stop eating tomato slices. I seem to be allergic to raw tomatoes if I eat them every day. The tomatoes were also making me even more allergic to soy. Back to eating grapes with my chicken.

 

I took a break from losing weight between Thanksgiving and New Year's, but I didn't gain any, which is amazing with all the crap I ate. I've lost over 70 pounds now.
