Well, I haven't seen the number 47 for quite some time. It came back in full time, at least here. The temperature was 47 earlier. I was flipping through the channels and saw an episode of Castle titled "47 Seconds." And of course, there's the movie adaptation of the 47 Ronin. Last month, there was a billboard in the south part of town about a car that got 47 miles per gallon.

I finished up the Enigma song. Right now I'm working on a song called "Reginald Andrews and His Amazing Octet of Electric Pencil Sharperners." I recorded the first 20 minutes earlier this morning. Right now the pets are right where i want them. The dog is laying on the chair not annoying me. I don't know where the cat is though. Her zit-like bump on her ear is still there, and we think she might have a cold. Nevertheless when I woke up at 4 am, she was annoyingly begging for food like always. I hope I can stay awake and go to the used video game store later today. I desparately need some Dreamcast stuff. All these sights of the number 47 make me want to make a song about the number 47. You know how long it would be? 94 minutes and 47 seconds. 94 is 47x2. I'm making the Reginald Andrews song 99 minutes and 59 seconds. I'm busy making a lot of music. No particular reason except for me being bored. I think I'll title the song about the number 47 "Nectarine Nightmare," a name I thought up for a song. In my mind, it's the opposite of Tangerine Dream. I wonder how long a music CD would be if I fill it with 700 MB. My 100-minute song is only 45MB, so I'm figuring I can put a whole bunch of really, really long songs on just one CD.

A normal audio CD (playable in any CD player) is 74-80 minutes. However, with MP3 compression a data CD could store much, much more. e.g. 700MB would be ~12 hours at 128kbps
