I am by no means a Pokemon fan. However, if I wanted every SINGLE Nintendo system (NES and up), I would have to fork over an insane amount of money and buy a Pokemon Mini from Japan. So that's what I did. Well, not an insane amount, but it is one of my most expensive video game purchases ever. I think I'll be selling some more stuff soon to get more money back. However, this is the exact reason I sold what I did. So I can buy stuff. Am I right? I think next to go will be N64 games I never play. Anyway, I made an account at http://www.pokemon-mini.net and have yet to hear back. Hopefully it will be a good community like AA or PVB. Mainly what I wanted to do with this was a.) to complete my Nintendo collection and b.) Make good homebrews for the "system." I see hardly anyone uses the site, so it will be tough to communicate with people, but hopefully they won't mind another completely clueless member. Their account verification question was what was the 151st Pokemon. How the hell am I supposed to know? My first guess was wrong, so I had to google the answer. I wasn't far off, though, even though I have never played Pokemon in my whole entire life. And when I was done with that, I took the dog out. The wind made it cold. It was 53 degrees when I took the dog out, but it felt like 30. I guess I shouldn't be complaining since most of the country is half that. But I saw the sun shining and thought "Well, the sun is shining, I guess it's warm out there." After all, we have had record highs broken recently around these parts. But at least my Pokemon Mini comes with a game so I can see if it works. I don't know which one since I can't read Japanese. It has Pikachu on it on a yellow background, that's all I know. It comes bundled with the boxed Pokemon Mini I got on eBay. Although I guess I could have gone the Sega Dreamcast VMU route for this type of thing, but hey. Nintendo is Nintendo.
