You'd think the Intellivision would be improved from the Atari 2600 since it was released a year later. But there is still something the 2600 has that the INTV does not: The ability to generate random numbers on a title screen. I was trying to get a fly on the waffle project's title screen to fly in random directions. But I found out that the INTV needs a key press in order to generate random numbers. Oh well, bang goes that idea. Anyway, I worked on the project for the last couple of days on a title screen idea from an AtariAge member. I think I have got it right this time. Although, I sort of like a title screen where something is at least moving, this is a static screen showing the project's manila folder. At least there's music playing. I have about 2k left for improvements, changes, and additions. Who knew such a simple game could take up 16k of room so quickly? And I just started on this thing 10 days ago! Projects move quickly when you have no life so you can concentrate on programming stuff. I am waiting anxiously for July 5 so the Halloween stuff can start appearing in craft stores. I feel the need to add to my jack-o-lantern/pumpkin collection. Maybe I should go to Value Village this weekend...
