So I got to working on "Lowercase I" for the Odyssey 2 again. That's odd, while I was typing that, under my left pointer fingernail has started to hurt when I type. It's OK, pain is the story of my life. Anyway, I decided to make an instruction manual for it. Well, started to, anyway. What I did was scan the manual cover for "Showdown in 2100 A.D." since it is one of the few manuals that display the entire Odyssey 2 rainbow-thingy without anything in front of it. I removed the artwork, I neatened up the Odyssey 2 logo (which took a while), changed the background color from black to white, changed the text from white to black, and made my own text for it. I think it looks really neat. What do you think? All it needs is some illustration of a lowercase I using his dot to defeat evil, oncoming H's. I changed the background color from black to white in case someone decides to actually use it if they actually publish this game so the ink costs would be lowered significantly. I've noticed that even the smallest Odyssey 2 games in the Magnavox lineup have an 8-page manual. I want my games to follow suit and have 8-page manuals, starting with the celery game. I wrote an e-mail to Ozyr of Packrat Games who is going to publish the celery game expressing my desire for an 8-page manual. I never heard back. I hope he is okay. My computer is being shipped back to the Salem Best Buy and I'm supposed to get a call when it is back so I can then go pick it up. It would be so great to finally have a computer back in my room so I can test the lowercase I game that I have been working on on real hardware. I am going to buy the latest version of Pinnacle Studio movie making program so I can begin anew on the second ActionMax game I was making until the old computer suddenly died on me. The one I have been using when I turn it on it goes through its disc scanning process. This has happened twice now. I hope it's okay.
