Flashy title screen

...but not in a good way. I was all set to work some more on Oranges, when I noticed when I started the game, for a few frames, possibly even just 2 or so, something flashed on the screen, then it went white (green?) for the same amount of time, and then the title screen popped up. I don't even know what had flashed on there, possibly the letters before they went to the font I hand loaded in, but it was annoying, so began my quest to stop it. When it was over, I had also thought of a way to lower the letters. Just call a few blank printf lines. Which, seeming very stupid, did the trick. And then I was stuck with a new problem: The noise wasn't going. So then I had to completely retool the game. Luckily it didn't take very long, and I was left with a good start. But before I was done, I had a really fast-moving guy in the game, so I had to slow him down. Now the code for the game is 236 lines long, probably half of it is defining background graphics and the custom font. Now that I'm happy with what I have, the next time I work on it, I have to work with the code and potentially mess it all up again. And then fix it. But such is the life of a programmer.
