Orange-o-matic

So I finally got back to work on Oranges. Last night was a busy one. I worked to get the Orange-O-Matic machine in the game so it spits out oranges instead of coming from nowhere.

The next step was to figure out why my orange-wall prevention plan wasn't working. I thought I had figured it out, but when I went to test on a real Game Boy, the top 2 oranges quit coming. I bet it's because of some code I had put in there for when the oranges aren't visible and are about to come out. So I put in a bit of code that should hopefully help for when that happens. I put it in there and it is being okay so far. I think I can change the values for the orange wall prevention plan and still have it work okay, which I think I'll do next time I work on it. I also need to figure out sounds because the one I have in there for each point sounds terrible. I would like a nice, short "Ding!" instead I get "semi-ding, screech!" because I don't understand Game Boy sounds. It's a wonder I figured out the title screen music! So now with that done, also, I can begin on the powerups coming in. Since the game is akin to the Secret Government Waffle Project, I'll put them in. Everyone loves strawberries, right? I'll put a strawberry in for an automatic 10-point increase. I'll also put the fork in so you can temporarily eat the oranges (invincibility). I don't know what else to put in though. I guess I could slow the oranges down some, so I can add some syrup in there. But I would like to have a nice round (in computer terms) number of 4 power-ups for it to "randomly" choose from. Oh well, at least I think I have the wall-prevention code done good.
