Game.com again
I promise I won't rant about how game.com needs a homebrew game. I found my missing Wheel of Fortune 2 box. I had the instruction manual and the cartridge but I didn't know where the box went. As it turned out, it was beside my bookcase, lying there straight up. I must have knocked it down at some point. I have been meaning to play my game.com again. I had been meaning to play Batman and Robin, but i haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm hoping for a side scrolling adventure like I had with the R-Zone version. I had an R-Zone. I sold it. Big mistake. But I'm never going to sell the game.com because the Wheel of Fortune 2 was a gift. For that matter, I guess I should also play Lost World if I want a side scroller. I played a Jurassic Park game, the NES version, but I didn't know what I was doing so I shelved it. And I want to play Indy 500 on Memorial Day. Start a new tradition, like I've been meaning to do. I've been meaning to do a lot of things. But I never get around to it. Like watching Manos on Halloween night, or playing my game.com. But thankfully, they aren't very important things. I guess I should be happy I suppose that Tiger Electronics gave it one more try because we got 4 games added to the library. And besides, they went bankrupt anyway. I guess they spent all their money on the game.com to get the Sonic and Resident Evil 2 licenses. And the next time you complain about how the screen is hard to see, remember that they added a contrast wheel switch thingy, the same as Game Boy. Try it. It's groovy. I think Nintendo releasing the Game Boy Color was the final nail in the coffin that Tiger didn't see. Why not milk that game.cow for all its worth?
