2018 has come

So I was looking through all the stuff I had stored on my website when I came across this: http://www.atari2600land.com/okochobonosolobo/ It was a long MIDI song I was making a few years ago when all of a sudden I had stopped working on it. I guess I just forgot about it for a few years. Shame, too, since it was over 85 minutes long. This was at about 11 last night. So I started working on it again. I was working away composing and programming the song. I looked at the clock on my computer. I watched it count down until midnight. And then I said "walnuts." The plan had worked. My first word of 2018 I said was "walnuts."

And then fireworks. I do NOT remember it being this loud and noisy on New Years'. It sounded like a war was going on out there. I wasn't sure if North Korea was launching an attack on us or if it was just fireworks. No North Korean army men didn't bust in my door and try to kill me, so it was probably just fireworks. So anyway, at 12:30 or so, I made the song 90 minutes long. It took me an hour to compose and program 5 minutes' worth of music. And the fireworks stopped at 12:30am. And I went to sleep.

Before, I tried putting my Lemons game on a real INTV with LTO Flash. It didn't work. All I got was a black screen. So I tried the flash sample. It didn't work as well. When I pressed 2, it crashed. I tried the binary file. Same thing. So either something is wrong with my LTO Flash or something is wrong with the flash example program (and my game.) A noisy end to 2017 and beginning of 2018. Let's hope the rest of the year goes better.
