Still in the jungle

I've been on hiatus for a while. Haven't even thought about coding for months, but I'm slowly coming back to it. Looks like some of the guys have been up to interesting stuff (cd-w, etc) lately.

I know it's a simple little game (and I have no intentions of making it more than 2k), but I am quite fond of Jungle Girl and am still tweaking it.

For those that are new to it, Jungle Girl is sort of a Sea Wolf style game for the Odyssey^2 (w/voice support). The friendly native is being menaced by the marauding lions and it's up to you to drive them away.

You have 60 seconds to score as many points as you can.
Red lion = 1 point
Blue lion = 3 points
Hitting the native takes 10 seconds off the timer.

If you hit 6 blue lions before the time expires you get bonus time.
This used to be fixed at 30 seconds, but I was wanting to do something to promote aggressive play and reward a good game. So, the number of seconds added is now based on the 10's digit of the timer when you hit the 6th blue lion. 0 = +10, 1 = +20, 2 = +30, 3 = +40, etc. So far, I've only managed to get the 40 second bonus once and was able to rack up a sizable score as a result. It adds a little spice to the game.
