Started high school yesterday and a got a trend to buck.

Four more years of hell to go. I'm lucky I started schooling in California rather than Arizona or I would have had five or six more years instead of four because you had to be a certain age to start school in Arizona. Thus I'll be 16 1/2 by the time I graduate. Will I be the one to buck the family trend on mom's side of the family of becoming a parent before age 18? I will only let time decide. Renea aka Roja Calor/Captain Caliente almost made it but she is due with twins in a couple weeks and she won't be 18 till October 27th but at least she made it out of high school before parenthood unlike my other two sisters and my older brother. Andrea aka Azul Fria/Ice Queen Zero graduated back in 2013 but had her baby before senior year and Chigura aka Kage Negra/Tiggy Smalls graduates this fiscal year in 2015 but had her baby before sophomore year. Older brother Michael Jr. graduates in 2016 but had fathered his son while still in junior high. I'm in good position to make it out child free.

My mom was pretty young when she had me. Difference is, she wanted to have a kid. Didn't want marriage or any of that. Most people have "mistakes" or - very strangely - have an oopsie to keep a man.

First off, men aren't worth it. Second, the zombie apocalypse hasn't happened. There's no need to repopulate the earth. It's OK to choose what point in your life to create another.
