Netflix Has Improved

Posted by Random Terrain, in Personal_Stuff, TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics, Internet_Related 09 December 2013 · 369 views

I had Netflix 4 or 5 years ago and things have improved since then. The player in the browser on my PC seems to be a lot more professional and user-friendly than it used to be. I also have a different setup than I had back then, so I'm not just limited to using a PC.

I wirelessly connected my Blu-ray player to the Internet tonight with the little U...

Jay Leno Makes Me Sick

Posted by Random Terrain, in TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 20 March 2013 · 421 views

Remember when Jay Leno ruined NBC's prime-time lineup and Conan O'Brien's shot at the Tonight Show with the crappy Jay Leno Show   at 10 p.m.? Jay Leno screwed Conan O'Brien and wrecked the schedule, screwing various other shows, including the Law and Order  franchise. I heard that Jay Leno has been recently taking shots at NBC executives...

Below is an inappropriate moment from Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection.

Kid: "You're so huge, like a giant bag of Skittles."

Madea: "You better get the hell up or when I come back up in here, you know what's gonna happen? You're gonna taste the rainbow ."

I finally got to see 3D TV yesterday

Posted by Random Terrain, in Personal_Stuff, TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 05 March 2011 · 276 views

If you've been to the Ulterior Interior page on my web site, you probably know that I don't see in 3D. The only difference I see when I close one eye is that my field of view isn't as wide. I had glasses that contained 'partial prisms' from an...

The Stupidity of Shameless (Showtime)

Posted by Random Terrain, in TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 28 February 2011 · 260 views

The big sister on Shameless cries over her demeaning jobs and acts like the weight of the world is on her shoulders. She seems to think that stealing is perfectly fine, but someone freely giving her money is below contempt. "Don't you dare give me money, but I'll steal it from you when you're not looking" seems to be a way of...

The TV show V lost a viewer

Posted by Random Terrain, in TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 11 January 2011 · 221 views

I missed the first episode of the second season, but I figured it would be on the ABC on-demand channel or on the Internet. Wrong. Doesn't seem to be anywhere. Now the second episode is going to be on, but I'm not watching it before I see the first episode, so screw 'em.

I guess I'll watch the second season...

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (Can't Tell a Spider Web from a Ghost)

Posted by Random Terrain, in TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 19 August 2010 · 595 views

The main guy on Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files is supposedly a former FBI agent. If we can use this episode as an example of his powers of observation, I think we might know why he's a former FBI agent. They showed a clip of someone walking in the dark near some trees and they walk...

Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade

Posted by Random Terrain, in TV_and_Movie_Related_Topics 16 June 2010 · 545 views

Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade was on one of the Showtime channels the other day, so I recorded it with my DVR and finally got around to watching it. Parts of it reminded me of something you'd see on Saturday Night Live. It's hard to believe that people could really say and...

The place for Conan O'Brien is the Ed Sullivan Theater

The place for Conan O'Brien is the Ed Sullivan Theater

I liked Conan O'Brien where he was. After a horrible start, he eventually became the king of late night. He looked like he was confident and in control on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. When he went to the Tonight Show, it was like watching a 9 year old...
