  2. Note that if you have just one 1N34A in there, it will be installed with the band opposite the direction of the D9Ks. . .
  3. The system has only been out for 4 months, and it's had 4 different updates released already. You will see it, but they are working to make sure the next update includes big things, not just one thing here or there like the previous ones.
  4. Hello guys Aluminum does oxidize as soon as it gets in contact with the oxygen in the air. It forms a protective shield that stops further oxidizing, as do all precious metals. Unfortunately, some aluminum alloys do oxidize in such a way, that it does eat away at the metal. Sincerely Mathy
  5. This is false. They're literally working on that right now, and from what I've heard it's very close. There's absolutely no reason why they can't get it to work.
  6. I don't, I was gifted this machine, the first one since circa 1985. I had a Hyperkin Ranger that arrived w/something broken off inside and felt so cheap I returned it and got the 8bitdo dongle. Planned on getting one off ebay (Slik Stik maybe) or one at a store near me (Quickshot Pro, meh) but held off bc I had this dongle arriving.
  7. No worries. If that is indeed the problem, I wonder how @tjrtech was able to get his utility working under MacOS but not Windows? Of course, I know absolutely nothing about the differences between MacOS and Windows regarding low-level directory record order of files.
  8. It's more likely I didn't read it properly. And if that's what you did, and it worked - then I'm more confident that the underlying issue is as I described (or related to it).
  9. We will have a guide helping us for part of the time in each city, but we are also very experienced travelers and tend not to panic too much when we get lost. I think we'll probably have a few stories about how we took a wrong turn and wasted some time, but we'll survive.
  10. That is precisely the method I used to solve the issue. Perhaps I did not describe it adequately.
  11. I have found this also. Between some of us there is a shared folder on the PlusStore called "ELF Tests" which have a "Failed rom download" message on several of them.
  12. I looked into this and it actually is a separate game that seems to use the Blue Rose Engine: Only released in France. It is a licensed game for the film Taxi 3 - there weren't Taxi 1 or 2 games on the GBA at least.
  13. Well CALL is used in Mini-Memory and XB to launch Assembly, so you could say that is "part" of it as well. I lost my original one long time ago, would love to get a used one again just for my TI Bookshelf in my room, but they are like over $110 usd now, crazy prices.
  14. Given that the Gamestation Pro reads directories in their low-level directory record order (which is basically the chronological order the files were created in on the SD card), if there's a LOT of files on the card I can see it just not seeing a new version copied over LATER. In theory it should overwrite the original FAT DIR entry, but in practice it might be creating a new entry, then removing the old, leaving it out of order and possibly beyond the limit of the number of files the software will read. Easy way to test it ... Start with the original games.ini file, open it in an editor, remove everything it contains (without saving), copy and paste in the ENTIRE contents of the one from the "AGSP Enhance" tool, and then save THAT back to the original games.ini file.
  15. The PlusCart you updated is in the beta tester group. You should see an update option in the menu to "v2.3.20". Can you try if it works. Which ELF files did you tested?
  16. Thanks for the reply! I honestly have never seen those movies. Are they any good?
  17. Have you tried the Wayback Machine? My company -- founder and part owner -- just celebrated 25 years in business. Marketing wanted some stuff from years past to build a presentation. I sent the link to the Wayback Machine. There were snapshots of our website back to 2000.
  18. Just noticed your message about this, as I been reviewing all the pages as recently @RickyDean mailed me one of his extra boards. I been making up a list of parts I need to order from mouser canada and amazon, and I was wondering if you built yours yet or did you grab a extra board from Ricky as well? Let me know, as I located in Scarberia that place to East of Toronto, maybe we can get together as well for coffee, since I have not been in contact much with local fellow TI99'ers. Looking forward to hearing from you. Send me a PM if you wish. Take Care, and enjoy the rest of your day here in GTA at least the sun is out today, but still on the chilly side of the weather!
  19. Today
  20. So do you not have a standard joystick (DB9, Atari compatible)? Loads available on ebay of all shapes and sizes.
  21. Honestly, this sounds like a Retroarch problem rather than a game ROM problem. No issues here on my 2-port 5200. Having said that, it couldn't hurt to try a different copy just in case. Atarimania may be of help.
  22. Yeah, it just uses the joystick trigger register. VBI is typically used and sufficient in most cases. I think this post is the beginning talk about the last iteration of the GUI's mouse driver. GOS Mouse Driver During SIO
  23. Hey my brother got back to me about those psp videos. He was sure we had more but can't find them all. He found Hostel and Untraceable. He says Untraceable is still sealed. We must have got it from the discount bin and never opened or something. haha. Let me know if you are interested in either and I can get some pictures.
  24. Quick controls check: Is there any way to move faster? I keep getting killed on later levels where multiple balloons drop at once. Not sure if it's just bad RNG or what, but sometimes they drop from both sides at roughly the same time, which seems impossible unless I'm doing something wrong.
