How many other brands or names does Atari own the rights to?

Yoooo, it would great to see Ocean Software get brought back. Afterall they were the inspiration for my pseudonym, Oasys. -
Hi All, Just collected a Mega 4 today, It's a bit flaky and will crash is it's given a light tap. I need to work out what's going on there. When I opened the unit I noticed a strange mod. I've attached a few pictures. Anyone know what it is. Note that when I connect the yellow and pink wires the unit will not boot. It only boots when they are disconnected. Any thoughts? Can it be easily revered by removing the various wires, desoldering the piggy-backed 74LS74AN and replacing the 68000?

Landed on the XPR, it got discounted to a 100 after I posted on here. I guess the announcement did the drop in price. Made me regret not getting this device earlier, so far I feel like this has been the nicest experience of playing retro games on a handheld in modern times. I love my analogue to play original carts, but having save states is amazing. Was hoping to find the Pico 1 Collection but looks like I am too late for that one.. only people selling them on ebay for $100-$200 :s

Pretty much keep the gameplay exactly the same but add punts, FG's and team stats after the game. Maybe slow the game clock down but keep it running in between plays like it would in a real game. You could also make it possible to run out of bounds to stop the clock like real football. I would buy a 2600+ just to play this game on a modern TV. I understand that a good single player option might be hard to do but that would be great and would obviously make it more appealing to buyers. And if anybody within a 300 mile radius of Carroll County Georgia wants to play me lets meet halfway and I'll spank your ass like it's the 1980's all over again😜

Check out the website Next Monday (29th) for all the info. Prices will include shipping to your particular region.

Agreed! GameGuide ST and Lynx covered much more than games, it covered history, hardware, resources and had interviews as well as other great content. I'm doing the same again for the Jaguar, and the book is for old and new players too.

Pi Pico[W] Peripheral Expansion Box Side Port Device
JasonACT replied to JasonACT's topic in TI-99/4A Development
I had a bit of a go, but I think you're right, it's just the nature of the beast. My USB2 capture device has no issue with the lost 2 pixels on the left, they are there. You can change resistors and get colour red to be more vibrant, but at cost to the other colours that may get washed out. I tried different caps but that made little difference until the unit failed altogether, but I've ended up picking a single cap that works OK, rather than two connected ones from the original circuit. You just need to let the video chip warm up, I think. This is what I've got now, a 1K pot to get the colours right in various games, but it's much the same as the original circuit. Thanks for making it available I snipped the tin side panel so the cable can go through, rather than poke it through the bottom-panel hole - as the unit bulged otherwise, when screwed together. -

I didn't know about that one. I did a quick search to see if what they paid for the games was online but I didn't find anything. Has anybody heard anything on a number? -
See anything you want? Lots of free pdf items on the Activision Patches Website too. All patches allow offers to be made as well. Thank you for looking.

Try playing Combat with him. Just don't be cutthroat and stick him with the bomber in the plane games variation😜

The connector inside the Intellivision 1 controller can be taken apart and the cable replaced without cutting the original cable or soldering.

That's great to know, given the evil, proprietary connector the 7800 power supply uses! How long is the cable included with your power supply? ..Al

I assume you're joking. It's very easy to figure out where the idea with larger and smaller capital letters came from.

Yes, I would have gone that route if I'd taken a few more minutes to think about it first. I just coded it the way I did to get it done fast so I could get to the info about the bits. I was actually gonna write and post something using bitwise operators after I came home from work tonight; but I was busy chatting with a female when I got home. Yeah, same here. It's common practice to program mouse code for port 2, so port 1 is open to use with joysticks and other controllers. Like I said, all what I coded was really quick, so I could give a quick response to the posts about using an ST Mouse here.

That’s great! BREAKOUT is a good one. Paddle games are unique. There is nothing like it with modern gaming. Try MAZE CRAZE if you haven’t already. My daughter and I played that often. We still do! Lol!

Like this: 10 GRAPHICS %0 20 DO 30 X=PEEK(633) 40 POSITION 10,10:? X&8=8;X&4=4;X&2=2;X&1 50 LOOP My ST-Mouse is always connected to port 2.

That's possible, especially given in the /4 it IS only 6 bytes per character!

It looks interesting, but it looks like you need to have an Azure account as well just to access the service...? Still, looks like it might work out cheaper than any other service... to start at least

Thanks for the test. ^_^ The last version must work but you need to launch the atr version with autoboot or exomizer version. As the game works on 8ko computer, the code is under $2000 and crash because of Dos. It's totally possible to add button to restart the game from "couch". But not a rewind button, it's more interesting that way. Just to see your joy faces when you finish a level by yourself. That's the goal of a game.
