  1. Past hour
  2. Very interesting, I may just do that then
  3. Sad to see the end of the Z80 Zilog era my first love is the TMS9900 but I also have a lot of respect for the MSX community and their amazing passion to keep making new games & hardware. I hope soon to again own some Z80 systems as many used the TMS9918 & V9938 video chips.
  4. Space Cavern. That's one that I'm after. Nice Artwork. 👍
  5. If you need help for next season I'll help you with the INTV Classic's HSC Club. I should be pretty much squared away as far as medical appointments and reduced to the usual 6-month follow-ups across the board. It's been pretty hectic for me the last 2 months. I've barely played my deck the last 2 months period. 🤬 But after next week things are finally (KOW) going to calm down on my end. One thing I haven't learned how to do yet, is kill those little turd balls on Super Cobra in a consistent manner LOL But I will say one thing I think maybe one time a year would be a good thing just add more games for a fall session. Because obviously when it's close to summer time there's more stuff going on simply because of the weather's better. But if it's November in Pittsburgh and I have a storm going and I can't go anywhere? I'm firing up the deck. LOL
  6. Yes, did not enter the compo for a while so I was extra motivated and focused during the convention. Hope to see you soon at an AC or eJagfest.
  7. Aha, so there is a difference between MyDOS and DOS 2.5 regarding binary load from Basic (therefore a different machinecode required). Since I am no programmer, I did not know this. Evil me, I wanted to have all Tenliner games on a 130k disk. So I simply packed the two longest programs (Acme Inc and Fall Ball, both ug-Basic programs) and then they did all fit on a 130k disk. But with DOS 2.5 and your menu on this 130k diskette all XEX files did not run anymore. With MyDOS and your menu on this 130k disk I also had some problems (think the XEX files still did not load, but maybe it was something else that did not work). So I loaded your menu from the Tenliners 2023 (130k DOS 2.5 disk image) and listed lines 65 and 66 to diskette and then entered it to the menu of the Tenliners 2024 on my 130k DOS 2.5 disk - and that worked. The packed programs show some garbage when depacking, but otherwise they work fine (and all XEX files load fine from DOS 2.5 now).

    Hera Primera

I haven't played Hera Primera but I tried to run it. Result is that Hera Primara runs on buzz-Vectrex consoles but does not run on non-buzz Vectrex consoles (Serial numbers 31xxxxx and 4xxxxxx). Poly.play is currently ellaborating this and is looking for a solution.
  9. Makes you feel like you’re in the game! “I wanna be a COWBOY”
  10. I recently came across this digital archive of Compute! magazine issues from the 80s. It's a lot of fun flipping through them to read the articles, look at the ads, check out the reviews and even the type-in programs! Link to the archive: https://archive.org/details/compute-magazine Here's an issue from October 1983 if you want to get an idea of what it's like: https://archive.org/details/1983-10-compute-magazine/mode/2up?view=theater
  11. Alestorm concert is tonight!  Woo!

  12. Your tablet works absolutely correct. Contrary to the Koala Pad the Y-Axis is inverted (I even guess to avoid to being sued for plagiarism). In RAMBrandt you should just select the correct input device here: If you like to try some games with the pad, here are some:
  13. I mentioned you in the Geneve development thread. See if the version there works. If not, a fix is relatively easy though @9640News and I might not have time to get to it right away.
  14. I thought the label was blue. Didn’t realize there’s a red version also. 👍
  15. Oh that makes so much more sense. Is there a Rom file version of this game?
  16. I have a USB-connected SteelSeries Apex 3 gaming keyboard connected. Works great. The LED backlight is adjustable so I have mine set to a nice steady blue colour.
  17. @Shaggy the Atarian First week of Asteroids is in the books. Understanding it's basically been on free-play 😀, did people seem to enjoy it?
  18. Not owning a PokeyMax yet in any form, only interpreting the discussions here and in the other thread, there are no new functional features to speak of (well, there is this DAC that @foft just mentioned, and better keyboard compatibility). The main novelty is that the new design is (a) fully open, (b) DIY-able-ish, (c) hw simplified to reduce costs. The different FPGA options are to further allow cutting costs if not all extensions are needed (myself I will most likely go for M08), but you can still have a M16 based build with all-in.
  19. Happy to hear you are doing well. Wishing you all of the best
  20. Nice. I go up to the Pasco County Fair, which I'm pretty sure is right by you. Yeah, you could make a day of it, if you ever felt like swinging over that way. The arcade is $14 for the day, and all the games are on free-play. We head over in the morning, play for a little while, grab some lunch and a beer, play a little more, and if we're still in town by dinner time, there's an insanely good Creole restaurant called Hour's Creole Smokehouse across the street.
  21. Not me. I'm looking for someone who's offering it. My hands are never good with small, fiddly things.
  22. Changes in v4 (dug out from other thread): i) Somewhat thinner (headers move inwards) ii) 2 layer single sided while having v3 like features iii) Digital ADC iv) No io expander, so keyboard timing can be perfect v) No LM339s needed (uses the fpga lvds) ie small form factor changes, cost reduction, keyboard compatibility improvement and digital system audio mixing u1mb has a plugin. I do have a spare io pin that I could dedicate to switch back to mono mode for those who don’t want to use it.
