  1. Past hour
  2. As it looks like the (almost) same issue with my Vader, I'd start with exchanging the CPU, which is the smaller IC labeled "6507".
  3. Too busy with the ground textures but, I like the idea of the extended blue castle (or maybe more the orange castle). I can see some type of power-up or achievement where your castle is extended. Not to the degree in your concept art, but maybe a bit more, which means it takes longer to kill you off (knock out all your bricks) but at the same time it becomes harder for you to defend all that extra real estate. Double-edged sword, I guess. Definitely need a spinner controller to handle that extra Tempest type shape change. There could also be the addition of an inner keep bonus or power-up (the little central square room in the center) that could add extra bricks that now must be knocked down if/when the outer wall is completely gone. Sort of like an extra mini life? I don't see any Breakout type bricks or sections to be knocked out in that image, either.
  4. When I was a kid, I got a Game Boy just because it was Nintendo, I didn't know the Lynx, or Game Gear even existed (Game Gear I found out about in 97, and the Lynx I found out about in 2000). But the Game Boy never really wow'd me back then, I mean, I played Mario Land, and Tetris on it, but other than those games, I didn't play much on it. Mainly because the screen on it was complete and utter garbage. Say what you want about the GG and Lynx screens, but they were lightyears better than the GB. But it seems everyone else thought different. As soon as I saw the Game Gear, I forgot all about the GB. And today, I find that the Lynx has more games I like than the GB lol
  5. Looks great! The only slightly tricky thing with programming is using the right version of certain libraries; my Github page has some of the required ones but with every new Arduino IDE version some standard libs seem to bloat and could cause the sketch not to fit. Happy to provide a more detailed list of lib versions if you run into that trouble. Awesome you built one.
  6. Maybe, I'm not sure about the Atari computers. Maybe the ST for the fact that it's got 2500 games for it, but most of the games are probably in PAL format, and can't be played on an NTSC ST computer.
  7. Maybe IE can use Ricky’s check cashing scam to finance the production.
  8. I'm interested in the game. However, if one of her upgraded equipments isn't a speaker hat I'm going to boycott it like some of the VCSers were going to do with Lunar Lander Beyond when it hadn't been announced for VCS yet. If there's a part that you need to wear a speaker hat to play annoying sythwave music to kill two guards to move on.... day one purchase here.
  9. Is there something up with the site? I have a cursor only on the screen. I attempted both the Web based log in and telnet with Sync TERM.
  10. Thanks Darklord for being my only and regular visitor on my BBS LOL. Here is a blog post on the HeinzNixdorfMuseum site about the event. https://www-hnf-de.translate.goog/das-hnf/presse/pressemitteilungen/ansicht/artikel/2700-besucher-beim-retro-computer-festival.html?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp You can find some live video from the 2 days of the RetroComputerFestival here Saturday Sunday with a short appearance of yours truly at 00:30 , looking for a demo to load on AVG cart to compete with the filmer's C64 SID tunes (shown first in the lasercut case) On Sunday I was gone for 2 hours visiting the museum upstairs hence you will not see me anymore apparantly in the later part of the video. The 800XL in the thumbnail actually didn't work on Saturday. His modded Commodore monitor would show a garbled screen. He tried it at the ABBUC stand with another monitor and it worked. I gave him another video adapter , still didn't work, until I got an AHA moment and swapped his Atari brick PSU with my modern PSU , it then finally worked.
  11. Can we merge this other heavy sixer thread? I don’t see my serial in the first post of this thread.
  12. I had also heard that someone had herd someone say that they did preliminary testing which doesn't mean testing and passing which is what I heard had been discussed before and that the paperwork will be submitted once their feelings are done being hurt when Intellivision is no longer ridiculed. This reminds me that now that I'm on reddit I'm going to have to block redditshreddit now. Thanks for the reminder.
  13. That's Nationals. I suck at Nationals I wish I bowled it 25 years ago when I was good. But what gets me most of all are the approach's in the stadium, they're too slick for me and I don't slide. During the pandemic to make up for the first two months that were postponed they had singles and doubles in the public center, and those approach's are wood to go with synthetic lanes which is the best combination anybody can hope for in any tournament. It was also the best six game block I ever shot at Nationals for singles and doubles that day because I wasn't sliding all over the place. I go mostly just to see my guys who I met in 2015 on the subs list, and I've been bowling with them ever since. Right now I would say I'm better at Intellivision bowling than real bowling. LOL
  14. Today
  15. If you call them do you think you can extend the warranty? And if you can, do you have to pay the other 49 years first? 🤔 Asteroids is one my favourite VCS games, I think the clean up the mess on the screen gameplay taps into my OCD. 🤣 Very satisfying. Skiing is underrated, I like it, a chilled game. I have a PAL version ( coincidentally with an NTSC replacement on the way 🤷🏻🤣). Just loose carts.
  16. It looks like getting this to work on Linux is a mystery. I've tried following the instructions, for my Ubuntu box, and no joy. 😞
  17. Actually, that might not be the case...... From Uwe Seimet: https://www.hddriver.net/en/features.html Under the section "not officially supported hardware". BlueSCSI 1.1-20220917, but not 1.1-20221203. Tested with the desktop version at the internal SCSI port of a MegaSTE and TT. With a ribbon cable at the external port there were issues, though. So given this, I would probably try to test it on a real SCSI drive if you have one. Just to make sure that it isn't a similar issue given the use of the external port.
  18. It appears to be an issue with my ZuluSCSI device looks like. I was able to boot via my SCSI2SD adapter once I set it to >1200 as you suggested. The only issue I need to chase now is it is not loading up my AUTOEXEC file that is on my SCS1. Not sure why..
  19. If that is the case, it is proper bunged. Blank ink gets everywhere and is impossible to clean out.
  20. You're very welcome Kon. A pleasure having you on AtariAge.com as a new member and sharing your video as your first post here on the Neo-Geo thread. Were looking forward on seeing more from you and enjoying yourself around the forums brother man. Enjoy your stay and hope AtariAge will be your second home. Anthony..
  21. Oh wow! That's great that you own a NGPC and you purchase a unit from one of our fellow members. How many games you have for it so far bro? As for the cable arriving, that's great to know. Now we really would like to see how that will be done by you Dopy. This will be exciting to see once its complete. Anthony..
  22. When the msb is not set; bpl clear? (When msb is set, continue through code). thanks.
  23. You are David Weavil?? Wow, I am a fan of yours! I enjoyed playing Dungeon quite a bit! Sorry, I didn't know it was you. Of course, it is your universe and your definitions! I have updated the entry to your game. Pls see, below. Is this much better now? Added: Bit Quest II Updated: Dungeon II: Solstice
  24. Just to rule a few more things out... What other cards are in the system? Run CRCOS7 against the file you copied to the SCSI. Make sure the file isn't bad. It shouldn't any more difficult to boot from SCSI than from HFDC. Very peculiar. I'll check back tomorrow or Saturday.
  25. i'm wondering if my 1.5 DSR is bad. as soon as it hits the card the geneve swan gets colorful. The 1.6 does not do that, but it won't boot with the 1.6 on my card. Anyone got a good binary of the 1.5?
