  1. Past hour
  2. The colour pot can make the system output black & white. It's very possible after sitting for such a long time too. I would honestly gently move it back and forth a few times and see if it helps.
  3. Yesterday's (4/15) totals: Android 1) Retro Bowl - 40 minutes PC Modern 1) Bang Bang Racing - 20 minutes 2) What the Golf? - 5 minutes GBC 1) WWF Betrayal - 15 minutes GBA 1) Denki Blocks! - 20 minutes
  4. I see someone beat me to posting the news about the Giga Cart and the newer console. I am eager to see what we get. I'm still hoping for Neo Geo games on Evercade.
  5. No. Fujitsu. And they tested good in the Retro Chip Tester Pro.
  6. In The Netherlands we use PAL, so I will definitely check the crystal!
  7. U1Meg would remove the need for OS and MMU but if the fault lies elsewhere you get left with a non working modified machine which would be even harder to debug.
  8. Up for grab is an Atari 130XE with lots of added features. Here's what was done to this powerhouse of an 8 bit computer: - NTSC USA/Canada Atari 130XE - Sophia RGB mod installed - don't use that old C64 composite cable on this computer. You can now use SCART RGB to connect to an RGB capable CRT or feed into OSSC/RetroTink 5X to enjoy on an LCD monitor* - SCART RGB cable (sync on luma) is included - Modern AC adapter that uses a MeanWell 5VDC industrial grade PSU - Fully tested and ready! PRICE: $250 CAD ($180 US) + Customer pays actual shipping price. PayPal accepted. * - composite output still works if you have to. No holes were drilled in the case. The old 5 pin DIN connector was replaced with 8 pin DIN to add RGB support
  9. What do you mean by "Hatari doesn't offer an option to switch drives"? If you press F12 you can access the disk menu
  10. Clock crystal would only be relevant if it's a PAL computer (check the 4~ MHz one) - NTSC uses the same one for CPU and colour generation and without it the computer wouldn't work at all.
  11. @Kr0tkiIs there any possible way you could port the final 8-Bit version to the 5200? It's a shame that the 5200 was the development system for the game yet never got the completed version. I say this not knowing how easy or difficult it is to do such a thing so if I'm way out of line just let me know. I'm not a programmer. Jr. Pac-man (7-10-84).rom
  12. I guess I'm interested in the TATE grip. That's certainly needed.
  13. I did follow that path, all solder joints are perfectly fine. Thanks for the schematics link!
  14. Tomb Raider never used analog controls on PlayStation. There's no point. New hardware incoming: https://evercade.co.uk/new-hardware-new-lower-price-introducing-evercade-exp-r-and-evercade-vs-r/ Cheaper price, no Capcom games, EXP-R loses HDMI out. VS is mostly the same.
  15. Ah, forgot about that one! As soon I'll be home I will do some tetsts! Thanks!
  16. Well, I was way off. I guess they did just introduce a new console and handheld. No clue what's different yet, though. I read that they may go on sale on Funstock with a limited edition 2,000 units a bit later today. If they're the same hardware, just cheaper, that's a hard pass.
  17. I'll hook up my oscilloscope and I will replace the caps too, thanks.
  18. This has been updated to "simemulate" Card 5. When plugged in, Card 5 has the following effects on Odyssey: Player 1 bounces the ball on collision Player 2 RESET launches ball from the far right screen Player 2 and Ball collisions hides ball and Player 2 Card 5 was used with three games: Submarine, Invasion and Wipeout. With this update, Magnavody should be capable of playing those games (if you have the pieces). I'm still working on the best way to recreate the pieces and overlays digitally. Additionally this update has a few quality-of-life improvements -- autodetects gamepads, rebalanced gamepad sensitivity, and fullscreen setting is now saved.
  19. Possibly. Just out of curiosity, are the RAM ICs made by MT?
  20. I'd fix it first before doing anything else. Having a known good computer, before adding anything, should increase your chances of success. Bad solder joints, such as what @Peri Noid suggested, are another thing to look for.
  21. Not yet, but the tracking shows that my package reached NYC (JFK Airport), yesterday. Waiting for the next update.🙃
  22. If it is the MMU or BIOS .. I'm guessing if I throw in an Ultimate 1MB kit into this system (got a spare) it should fix it right up? (As it replaces both chips) ?
