I thought the boss screen in Flying Hamburgers looked rather sparse, so I decided to attempt to put some clouds in there. That was easy, but then I discovered the shots and the burger were going behind them. A whole bunch of sprite address rearranging then occurred and then I finally got the result I was looking for. It's amazing what adding just four sprite tiles does to the look of a game. I also fixed the blackness (or sometimes whiteness) that appeared to the strawberry milkshake. That was due to the number of colors in the palette. The light pink used to highlight the shake was in pos. #2 in the palette, but so was also the numbers. I changed the color on the fly to color the score and lives counter. Fortunately, I only had 14 of a possible 16 colors in that palette (for the sprites), so I added a 15th color. I have one left in case I wanted to add something else, but I don't see a need to right now. I also worked pretty hard on Intellivision Pac-Line but nobody seems to care any more. I saw that Brian's Man Cave had put a version of Paku Paku in the contest, which made me sad. But who knows? Perhaps he thought of it and started working on his before I did mine. Which is what led me to resume work on Flying Hamburgers.

I am actually fluent in Megazeux! Lol.. Ironically I started to port Ninja Kombat to MZX first before I lost interest and learned Batari Basic.

I think there are a lot more Female Supporting Roles such as Mario's girlfriend Pauline waiting to be rescued in Donkey Kong, etc.

The manual says, "Each game of Alien lasts until you run out of humans." While your pixelated human could be Ripley, the female lead in the film, it also could be any other member of the crew who is still alive about the Nostromo. I say no. But what do you guys think? Update: Currently categorizing Alien as not having a female leading character.

I saw this posted on reddit, pretty amusing, since this was quite the leak as it hasn't even been announced yet. Weird that it showed up at an airport like that!! Also, who the heck buys these giant LEGO sets (like the Titanic set, which is enormous!) at an AIRPORT?!?! ..Al

My HP8610 printer stopped printing two years ago, coincidentally after purchasing a set of new ink cartridges. Fortunately, my wife bought the cartridges from a local store that same day and was able to return the ink carts for a refund. (that in itself was a minor miracle). I'm pretty sure the new ink carts damaged the printer or were newer than the the allowed firmware. HP was of no help, imagine that. So I bought a different printer (laser) and kept the 8610 as a scanner. Today, I'm asked to look at the 8610's scanner because it is stuck at some error menu. On the touch screen is a message similar to "print head missing or not working" with only a "show me" option and a silly animation that tells me where to look inside. What really irritates me is that there is no way to bypass the message. I spent time searching for a solution to no avail, so barring any additional miracles, instead of continuing to use the device as a scanner, it will make it way to the scrap heap. Thanks, HP.

It's not a problem for me, since I have my PC and Atari set up near enough each other. For a wireless solution, there is SIO2BT. I haven't used it myself, but there is a thread about it here on the forums.

Not a correction: just some explanation Sharkstorm was built off of my initial concept. The general release by Neo Games was Twist R Shark which came with improved spritework and feedback from Scott Dayton of Neo Games.

Hey. Does anyone want to play intellivision with a joystick instead of that pad? As long as your joystick is an 8-way or 4 way joystick I got the perfect recommendation based on a previous product. Retrogameboyz.com makes a Genesis ->Atari 5200 adapter that I purchased and it does work perfectly for digital games. Plus a couple places sell bohoki adapters for your analog sticks for the INTV. I was going to pay $150 for a Master system to intellivision adapter with one slight modification... Instead of having two buttons and having the third button accessed by pressing both buttons I was going to have the third button access independently through a 3.5 mm TRS connector and convert the Master system 9 pin to other TRS 3.5 mm connectors so that I can hook up with my fight stick. A standard one cost $120 so it might take a little more to get the 3.5 mm instead of the dual wiring. Finally does anyone know a way where I could get either a USB or PC 15 flight stick to work with an Intellivision so I can get 16 ways? By the way I have my own adapter to attache to the buttons on my PC15 to 3.5 mm connectors. And I might be able to use a Xbox adaptive controller to get it other ways.

I agree with all 3. I think we are to assume that Ladybug in the game is a lady ladybug! Added: Ms. Galactopus to Female Antagonists and Laurie Strode/Halloween and Ladybug to Female Protagonists.

I've heard, the grapes (were) sour anyway, plenty of times with many of things. So some dude, knew a dude, who told him there was a bugged version released. The plethora of interviews Howard Scott Warshaw has been a part of without once ever stating or suggesting anything remotely like this concerning Raiders of the Lost Ark is evidence enough for me. If that is not proof enough, I can state that instead of Randy, I received intel from Jambi, who also knows, from Chairry and Globey, that the King of Cartoons has original source code of Raiders of the Lost Ark delivered by Reba the Mail Lady, who confirmed with Miss Yvonne that there was never such a bug. If still in dispute, Cowboy Curtis may show up with the red and blue pills. Take the blue pill if you still want to believe in a bugged version release. Take the red pill, if you know crack is wack, but the story is even wackier.

We have collision detection! And point labels! (You would not believe how annoyed I get when ColecoVision arcade ports don't have these.) One slight problem: new Byrons will pop up in holes where there is already activity from bonked Byrons. This seems easy enough to fix, by placing a flag in the PoppinByrons routine preventing new Byrons from being spawned in those locations. There's still no trace of sound or music. I have ideas for these, but as I've stated before this is not my strong suit. whackem_game.rom
