I got a replacement 1TB internal M.2 SSD drive for my VCS800 and am trying to install Win10 from a USB stick (via media creation tool). Windows see's my drive and I can create a New Partition but Windows says it cant create a new partition or locate an existing one to install? When I did this over a year ago I for some reason remember having to use Linux Mint to partition the drive and such for windows?

Iam sure, that the more Tru learns about the Jaguar, the better MK will improve on its way to completion. Also, remember it runs on Jagstudio, proving the potential of those software tools

I agree, Alien is a reach. Despite the film tie-in, the humans in this game aren't really characters as much as generic avatars for us, the players. Blank canvases onto which we can ascribe any attribute. It can be Ripley if you want it to be, which is different than it's Ripley, full stop. If Ripley is in Alien, then Raquel Welch is in the submarine in Fantastic Voyage. 😜

The cart based mediums with SDcards is generally my preference, (mine being Side3), and many others also AVG and SubAVG. The Sdcard (even the small capacity ones) are cheap, give vast amounts of space and can be easily popped into laptops to save new games to. They have intuitive loaders, plus SpartaDos-X if needed. Main advantage of these carts is speed of loading and accessing. TBH I only really use my SIO2PCUSB with ResepQt windows software to flash firmwares. (Totally appreciate some of the benefits others have mentioned of using SIO2PCUSB). Cart PBI speeds are just so much faster than SIO, and mounting car images means some massive games load instantly. I think very many here wonder about the same. That better graphics becomes less important with games that are 30-50 years old is understandable. Yet, - improved graphics will probably always matter, it’s just that as we are in the era of 8th to 9th Gen. of consoles, and PCs have actually gradually evolved in background, the difference from whats really good-looking now contra then is so vast, the older games seems to be viewed more like ‘early, primivite block’-games, then NES-type 8-bit or 16-bit era. As of now, what should be the next quantum-leap in graphics…? Do we need it…? Guess for me, good graphics have always been one the most integral parts to everything-video game-related. Even as a very young kid, I was frustrated with our Dragon 64s poor graphics quality… like ‘why does stuff in Arcades (think Ghost n Goblins, Dragon Buster, Commando, Jail Break etc) actually pull me into a fantasy-world, while the unrecognizable block-world on the home-computer hardly tells me anything, shows me anything, - gives me no exciting feelings of adventure and ‘being there’ etc. Guess, people may differ in whats important to them: Is it about videogames being a digital Air-Hockey+, is it about video-games to be an interactive action-movie or interactive story-world…? For retro-games, how much is pure nostalgia (re-living or awakening a fond memory) and how much is about exploring what you wished to experience back then but couldn’t (pretty big part for me) and how much is just being universally interested in everything game-like just to have fun with that paradigm or platform provided…? Certainly can distinctly remember asking myself whether I’d see Konami, Capcom and Sega titles on the Lynx… - of what they would’ve looked like…

Hot damn, I posted these ages ago! Any hoo - I just modified one a little bit, so I can play some paddle games on my 800XL. This will work on other Ataris too. 2nd button is wired to UP. Joystick left is paddle button. Works a treat and the dial doesn't get in the way of the buttons either (even though it may look like it does...)

Positive news Update! Apparently their first reply went to my spam folder, but they did follow-up with a second email to explain that there is a 20-30 day delay for shipping the controllers. They explained that there is a disclaimer below the PayPal purchase button. It may be a new disclaimer, but in fairness, I may have missed that when ordering.
