  3. After deeply contemplating this topic's question for several minutes, reflecting on it and researching, my answer is thus:
  4. Every time you start to get ahead in life, someone comes along and kicks you in the nuts as hard as they can

  5. I cant download these games on my PC anything I can do?
  6. Could someone please share VBXE versions of: Mr. Proper, Heartlight, Quadrillion and Robbo?
  7. No need for apologies. I appreciate your work on this. I have a list of games that I was slowly putting on the gsp. Now, I will be using your tool to initially transfer the bulk of them over. I will then add a number of Homebrews and any others not included in your list. Lastly, I'll go into the .ini file and tweek and/or add game descriptions and control instructions and modify any artwork more to my liking. Still a lot of work but you definitely saved me a ton of time. Thanks so much. Meanwhile, I have been sifting through all of the games in your build and so far they have all worked fine. My favorites include most of the Activision titles, namely HERO, River Raid, Robot Tank, Megamania, etc. All to be included in my final build.
  8. My TNfS is up to date. FlaschBier is a really good fun game, it's sort of Boulder Dash meets Sokoban. Great fun! @larek Thanks for the great games! I think it's still being called WIP because you haven't said it's final yet and the updates suggest it's still being worked on.
  9. Yeah that's one of a few I've referenced to make mine. I've tried it in 2 configurations but neither worked. There are a few others that include some pcb/breadboards that include transistors/resistors but at that point I'd just get an Adladdin (which I may do anyway). It could be that I have a faulty 8bitdo dongle.
  10. I only programmed an Arduino bootloader using another Arduino (some excellent online tutorials for this). You should be able to use your TL866 as well but I haven't tried that.
  11. Note that if you have just one 1N34A in there, it will be installed with the band opposite the direction of the D9Ks. . .I usually run the D9Ks through an ohmmeter to verify the polarity, as that way I'm not forgetting what I'm doing during the installation.
  12. The system has only been out for 4 months, and it's had 4 different updates released already. You will see it, but they are working to make sure the next update includes big things, not just one thing here or there like the previous ones.
  13. Hello guys Aluminum does oxidize as soon as it gets in contact with the oxygen in the air. It forms a protective shield that stops further oxidizing, as do all precious metals. Unfortunately, some aluminum alloys do oxidize in such a way, that it does eat away at the metal. Sincerely Mathy
  14. This is false. They're literally working on that right now, and from what I've heard it's very close. There's absolutely no reason why they can't get it to work.
  15. I don't, I was gifted this machine, the first one since circa 1985. I had a Hyperkin Ranger that arrived w/something broken off inside and felt so cheap I returned it and got the 8bitdo dongle. Planned on getting one off ebay (Slik Stik maybe) or one at a store near me (Quickshot Pro, meh) but held off bc I had this dongle arriving.
  16. No worries. If that is indeed the problem, I wonder how @tjrtech was able to get his utility working under MacOS but not Windows? Of course, I know absolutely nothing about the differences between MacOS and Windows regarding low-level directory record order of files.
  17. It's more likely I didn't read it properly. And if that's what you did, and it worked - then I'm more confident that the underlying issue is as I described (or related to it).
  18. We will have a guide helping us for part of the time in each city, but we are also very experienced travelers and tend not to panic too much when we get lost. I think we'll probably have a few stories about how we took a wrong turn and wasted some time, but we'll survive.
  19. Today
  20. That is precisely the method I used to solve the issue. Perhaps I did not describe it adequately.
  21. I have found this also. Between some of us there is a shared folder on the PlusStore called "ELF Tests" which have a "Failed rom download" message on several of them.
  22. I looked into this and it actually is a separate game that seems to use the Blue Rose Engine: Only released in France. It is a licensed game for the film Taxi 3 - there weren't Taxi 1 or 2 games on the GBA at least.
  23. Well CALL is used in Mini-Memory and XB to launch Assembly, so you could say that is "part" of it as well. I lost my original one long time ago, would love to get a used one again just for my TI Bookshelf in my room, but they are like over $110 usd now, crazy prices.
