We had Docrotcod, Davidb, myself, and Rick D on speakerphone here at the Dallas area chatting away with our computers setup (An Atari XE, 800, and a Mac lap with Atari fonts at least) In the chat room we were welcomed by Slor, eventually followed Cybernoid, Mojo, and Dan. Chatted till about 3 in the morning. Thanks for the most fun we've had in a while. We think me have to have another get together in March. I am all for that. LYNXGUY
Isn't there an easier Atari chatroom somewhere else ?? I didn't care to much for telnet://www.atarinews.org and I am in another chatroom (retail chatroom) that is so much easier to use.

Last night, we had 2 or 3 130XEs, and an 800. Stephen Anderson

Gregory DG
^^ Yes, I saw this thread and decided to go with a different Java chat. Not sure what was going on with the old one, but this new one is nice (and works!) Feel free to use it whenever. :-)

Not sure what was going on with the old one, but this new one is nice (and works!) Feel free to use it whenever. :-) 1007711[/snapback] Java... the ugly word to any retro Atari machine. You say "java" and you'll be logging on with anything but an Atari machine. Think about it. There is no Atari machine that can do java. So aside from that the chat room is great, and I will join any night that you chat as long as it doesn't conflict with Tuesday night or Sunday morning.
