They are both the same width. It's just the angle of the picture and since the front of the system is shorter than the back, it looks longer. They are 2 separate systems. Also just got a 1200XL from ebay in almost pristine condition.

Just recently started playing it again via emulation and I still think it's a really great game. Really want to get onto some of those later levels where new enemies/helpers come onto the screen. Rybags
OK - not quite "Atari". But, $26.00 for an Amiga CD32 (don't know postage yet). Doesn't have PSU , controllers or any software, but happy with it at that price so long as it works OK.
LYNXGUY
I got an ATARI 800 and a joystick for $7.50 plus shipping !!! I am now waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I also asked him to make sure he packs the 800 correctly as I got burned on EBAY on my first 800 from there as it arrived in pieces and I told this person that I contacted EBAY about it and the fact that the seller lied about the condition and I left a very negative feedback for the seller. charliecron
I couldnt resist. A ICD MIO! No idea how much RAM, no matter. A Buy it Now! for $129.99 (worth every penny if you ask me). Charlie
spookt
There's one on there now asking for considerably more ICD MIO on eBay US I bought an R-Time 8 from the same guy a few days ago. Possibly paid over the odds but I've been looking for one for a while and it had the original (tested) disk and manual so I'm happy with what I paid. It looks like he's got some interesting stuff. Everything he puts up is buy it now with a best offer. The buy it now price tends to be a little high so I guess he's looking to haggle. Unfortunately the $50 shipping to the UK on the MIO makes it a bit TOO rich for me Here's a good example of something he has listed which is WAY over priced IMHO: Master Memory Map for $54??? I grabbed the same item off eBay UK last month for £4.70 so either I got a real bargain or he's a little optimistic Edited May 13, 2008 by spookt
charliecron
Yes, this is the same fellow I bought the MIO from. I imagine the more expensive one is for the 1 MEG MIO? He doesnt note it. I think he has another R-Time 8 up there as well.

Didn't really want 2 mind you, but for 99p !!! I guess you'll have to open a dispute with ebay. If he didn't set a reserve it's surely his hard luck? (BTW - If you get them I'd be happy to take the unboxed one off your hands ... how about 99p plus shipping ? ) Edited May 13, 2008 by spookt

I think he has another R-Time 8 up there as well. http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages/showim...,0&format=0 Yeah thats a pretty nice looking MIO. One of the later models. Notice that the video port had been deleted. By that point, they had given up on the 80 column expansion board. Also, notice they are using expanded metal end-plates on the case for better ventilation. What they really needed was a larger capacity regulator and diodes (or lower current-draw DRAM) to keep the 1meg model from burning up the rectifier/regulator. If you look inside that unit, it also has the 12v regulator removed and the phase-locked loop IC is a 5v part, rather than 12v. So that MIO can be run off of 5v from an external PC power supply connected to the J7 header. This completely negates all the heat/"meltdown" issues. Sadly, the internal expansion header is also "left off" inside those later units. The MIo in this picture (note the serial number) is from the same relative "generation". Also note the big BEEFY diodes (and discoloration of the board below them) in the rectifier stage. This one has already been repaired from a previous "meltdown". I have seen the 256k models burn up just as bad and even much worse, but the 1meg model is particularly succeptable due to having 4 times as much DRAM. That one is a really good collector's piece because the spray-painted logo on top of the case hasnt been worn or smeared. I'd clean that up and coat it with automotive clear-coat to preserve it. The end-plates have some rust, but they all did that. Soak them in wood-bleach solution to remove all the rust, and then repaint them black, and you'll have a pretty prestine ICD MIO. charliecron
Wow, got scared there for a moment. That first picture looked familiar, too much like the one I bought. I thought for a minute maybe the seller screwed up and listed the item twice, or messed up on the price or whatever. That first picture is the same as the first picture in the auction I won. You can see the vents.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280226445298

You can see the vents.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280226445298 Holy sh!t... Serial no. 0280! Thats one of the very first production MIOs. Steve Carden has #0199 and that was mailed to him by Tom Harker as a pre-production "development" model back in 86... That one also looks like the painted graphics on the case are in excellent shape. Notice it still uses the solid plastic end-plates, and has the video port. When you get that sucker, take the top off and send me some hi-res pictures of the board inside, and we'll discuss what has/hasnt been done to it. (ICD did alot of "upgrades" on those earlier models to fix problems for customers.) Also, if it has any problems, let me know.. I can help you get it working. Wow. That thing is a piece of history... Even if it's broke as hell, you got a killer deal. In fact.. heh. You absolutely stole it.. Thats probably the cleanest looking original MIO I've ever seen, and to have such a low serial number... You could easily get 3 times what you paid if you ever wanted to sell it.. btw-The seller did get the first picture mixed up. Its showing vented end-plates and no video port.. That pic is of the S/N 16xx series MIO in his other auction... Edited May 14, 2008 by MEtalGuy66
