He stopped to take a nap in his favorite hollow tree trunk. But when he awoke, he found himself inside a huge castle glittering with diamonds, emeralds, and pearls. Though Bentley didn't know it at the time, he was trapped in Crystal Castles, home of Berthilda the Witch and her evil cronies. To escape their spell, he must harvest the gems in the castles before Berthilda and her malicious gang send him into permanent hibernation. Game Name: Crystal Castles Released By: Atari, 1984 Left Difficulty: B / Novice -Easy Version Right Difficulty: N/A Game Mode: Boards 1-4 ONLY (see below). Post your scores right here in this thread, and I will add them to the list. Remember to play the game with the recommended game mode and difficulty settings as shown above so that your scores will be consistent with everyone else. The deadline for posting scores is Midnight, Feb 24, 2013. Crystal Castles ~ Start on Level 1 and play Boards 1-2-3-4. They are the first 4 boards you will see. Then on level 5 DO NOT MOVE. The Nasty Tree will get stuck on the hat and then YOU MUST TAKE A PIC OF YOUR SCORE NOW. Try to include Bentley in the pic so I know you didn’t move. The Gem Eaters won’t get to you for a while because they are looking for gems. So play Boards 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 then when level FIVE starts DO NOT MOVE and then take your pic. This weeks’ HSC will be who scores the most points after you play BOARDS 1,2,3,4. Your board should look like this.... In the middle is Bentley, a hat and a Nasty Tree stuck on the hat. I did not move when BOARD FIVE started.I played boards 1-2-3-4 and took this pic on BOARD 5. Just a twist because your score depends on how many gems you get, how many Gem Eaters you kill, if you get the last gem and how many gems the enemies destroy. It takes a lot of skill. So play boards 1-2-3-4 and take your pic by not moving Bentley on board 5. Good luck. Any questions? I played it on the computer. one hint is that on some stages you can pick up fire and distroy the enemy. does anyone know how to get up the elevator? :-D I think you just wait for the solid bar to come down and then you push your joystick up to go up.
