ACML
Well, I had three but sold one off. Sold 83S DA 021087 153 Still have: 83S DA 001449 073 and 83S DA 007041 133 I have had many more 1200XLs pass through my hands and in all the years, I've only encountered one unit with a bad motherboard. Plenty of bad keyboards, but all serviceable. Without a doubt, the finest engineered Atari ever made. Gorgeous lines, quality components and amazing keyboard. Fix R63, add the ClearPic2002 and 28 pin EPROMS (pick any two OS's) and you have the best 8-bit Atari to be had. I have mine stock 64K and the 800 XL and Omniview OS's. BillC
Usa It's not really necessary to add country of origin, all 83S models are made in the USA and all 72R models in Taiwan, I believe these are codes for the respective manufacturing plants. And I also believe DA is the product code for the 1200XL.
Paul Westphal
It also came with 1 meg Newell ram, and super video 2.1. Probably the best video off a 8 bit I have ever seen.
ryanmercer
I just won one on shopgoodwill, I overpaid but I keep losing on 850's and this one had an 850 AND an XM301 Modem so I snagged it. I'll report back with the serial when it shows up.
