keitaro
Hi, I see fine now The other is Morse Code tutor page, the same operation at line 77. I use simply a text editor in linux, like Gedit, and tools like Firebug for 'live debugging', so I didn't know about Blue Grifon sorry, I hope someone can help you about best recommendations. Home page has a bit complex layout, one option could be: Lines 80 and 198: replace width: 1277px with width:100%: 80: <table style="width: 1277px; height: 222px;" border="0" cellpadding="5"> -> <table style="width: 100%; height: 222px;" border="0" cellpadding="5"> 198: <table style="width: 1277px;" border="0" cellpadding="5"> -> <table style="width: 100%; height: 222px;" border="0" cellpadding="5"> After that headers like "All your protos are belong to us!" must be recentered, While it's a bit hard to me explain here, If you agree I can send you a html file with changes so you can check it for your self. Tempest
Fixed. Thanks again. My pages probably all need a major redo. They're a combination of hand editing (original pages) then Dreamweaver (various versions) then BlueGriffon. So they're all a mess. There's just so many I don't know where or how to clean them up. I'm just happy they all work at this point.
Lucky Man
Yes, now the reviews all fit on the page. Awesome! So the only page I see now that doesn't adjust properly on the screen is the main page. Edited December 15, 2014 by Lucky Man

keitaro
Hi, I forgot about home page sorry. Should work replacing "width:1277px" with "width:100%" for tables at lines: 80 and 222. After that, if you see the "All Your Protos Are Belong to Us!" a bit decentered, you can add more space to the left: for example: before: <p><b><font size="+2">All Your Protos Are Belong To Us!</font></b></p> change to: <p style="padding-left:137px"><b><font size="+2">All Your Protos Are Belong To Us!</font></b></p> I hope this helps. +Random Terrain
Here are a couple of thoughts about the Dukes of Hazzard page: The ratings for the CBS show didn't really recover (or recover enough) after the Coy and Vance debacle, so that could also have had something to do with the cancellation of the game. Seems like the whole Coy and Vance thing turned off a lot of people and they gave up on the show and didn't care when the original actors came back. A couple of paragraphs have "alot" instead of "a lot."
Tempest
Fixed that. Several years ago when I made that page and a few others I was convinced that alot was a word. I've since learned that no, it is not. I still think that it had something to do with the license. DoH was a Warner Bros. property which is probably how Atari got the license in the first place. Maybe after the sale they lost it? in 1984 Coleco put out their own DoH game for the Colecovision which I wouldn't think they could do unless they got the license away from Atari.

+save2600
Ugh. Every time I see a bump to this thread, think the latest (finished?) version of 2600 Xevious has been released. <sigh>

Tempest
In a month or so I'll ask if I can release the rom. No guarantees they'll say yes though.
+thegoldenband
I'm actually more interested in the FM synth source code. I'd love to see how that's done, and see if the full input range of the Keyboard Controller can be supported to get a complete chromatic scale. Tempest
Just a quick update on Xevious. It's now looking like I won't be able to release the rom until July. I'm just the reviewer, not the owner of the proto so I have to abide by the owner's wishes (I assure you there are reasons for the delay). All I can say is sit tight and be patient. It will all be worth it in the end.

Tempest
Well there's still a chance that I won't be able to release it even after July, but that possibility is sounding less likely than it did a few months ago. The conversation I had with the owner sounded very positive.
iesposta
I'm glad to hear you got a positive vibe from your last conversation. I don't want a ROM first, I want an expensive cartridge! And all the boxes, bells and whistles, instructions and swag. Do you know if they want to make a cartridge run first, before a ROM release, to make some money back? I think a nearly completed proto should be a cart before the rom is offered. That's just me, I guess. I had to have a physical cart of 2600 Sinistar because it's one game I like and never thought could be done for the VCS.
Tempest
I really don't think they'll care what is done with the rom once it's released. So if someone wanted to make a cartridge out of it I think that would be ok. I'll have to check on that.

+save2600
Hope we won't have to prepare for sad times if no Xevious by July.
Thomas Jentzsch
I think a nearly completed proto should be a cart before the rom is offered. "Nearly completed" is a broad term. Yes, the proto probably contains all major elements, but it almost completely lacks polishing. Which is a major part of development, which is way underestimated very often. IMO its about 50% complete.
