Almost as if the translation is not translating a few high ascii characters? Otherwise lookin' good! For comparison:

Omega-TI
Syncterm is my favorite for an authentic retro BBS experience for the PC. Nothing beats calling Heatwave... with a REAL TI and a version 1.6 F18A card!

Almost as if the translation is not translating a few high ascii characters? Otherwise lookin' good! This looks like a mismatch of codepages (oh, I remember those DOS times..., cp437 vs. cp850 etc.)
+Schmitzi
yep, good old chcp. But I wont change anything on my PC, this some characters do not disturb me. Maybe later I have to fiddle around a bit more with my SecureCRT-settings

Mad Hatter
I've always wanted a TRUE 80-column terminal program for the TI which supports color. Not too shabby!
Omega-TI
The main reason I left the TI all those years ago was because I could not see the local BBS systems as they were intended to be seen. Sadly the TI was not up to the task without a MAJOR infusion of cash for an 80 column card, but even then a program did not exist that would have worked. It was time for me to move on, which was a bitter experience since the TI was 'my first'. Now with Matthew's affordable and newly upgraded F18A, and hopefully soon this awesome terminal program, a decades long dream of one, and possibly many, will finally come to fruition. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "This is the TI's Golden Era, not thirty years ago". This is truly a dream come true.
