In a home of a man that had passed away, a nice treasure of retro games and accessories where found. Boxed and stored for around 30 years. Prototypes boxed games in both cartridge and diskette. An Atari 2600 with box all black, Coleco vision controllers Atrai 2600 Carrying Case with mail proof name of VIP that it was sent to at the magazine. Games I have never seen and still can't find. To many things to list. I have provided a picture of some of the prototypes. I can add or send more pictures on request. Has anyone seen any of these?

What are the games you have never seen? Even just what you have posted there is a really nice haul.

I'm confused.

Can you clarify exactly what this is? Your wording is not clear on the scenario here.

Is this just some Internet news story & the pics are what was provided?

Or is this someone you personally know, and you were allowed to look but nothing is available at this time?

Or is this all coming your way soon, and yours to keep?

Or are the surviving relatives going to throw this up on eBay?

Like, what exactly is the end result here?

I don't know Rom...If I had access to them, I'd plug them all in. Every single cart must be checked. Reason being, you just never know. There could be a mislabeled cart in that lot. Remember we found that Telesys Proto a few years back that when the sticker was pealed up, it was revealed that at one point it was "The Impossible Game".

Hmm, paid .99 cents for a presumed ripped label NES SMB/DH cart with writing that said "Mario" on it at a Funco Land. Turned out to be an NWC cart.

I think you'll like this bit of information on Cakewalk.

http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/cakewalk/cakewalk.htm

"One of the last releases from a small company, Cakewalk is widely known as being one of the hardest to find releases for the Atari 2600. Not only was Cakewalk only sold in a very small number of stores (mostly in the Midwest), but it was only on the market for a short time before Commavid decided to call it quits...."

The others are a bit more "common" but still prototypes. :D

Wait, so was a copy of the Impossible Game found, or was this just a label that was on there?

I apologize but I have been very busy as of lately. I finally got to looking in more of the boxes and found more prototypes and demos. I will post more pictures. All the carts in the pictures that I downloaded where sold for a nice amount and yes cakewalk was his mission. Any questions please ask I am now back in action. FYI I am not the best at retro games I just happened across these games.

So the games in the first post are sold now but you have more? Did I read that correct?
