Opry99er
Nothing rare or even special here.... But I love this lot I just got from eBay. . The TI is super clean and has no dings or scrapes, and the docs are very nice and the mags are great fun! Who can tell me what kind of keyboard I have by the capless pic? Ill be busy for a day or two looking at ads and such. Now, just need to plug it in and verify that the seller was truthful (it was listed as Working.
+Lee Stewart
... Who can tell me what kind of keyboard I have by the capless pic? It is definitely NOT the Mitsumi keyboard , with those metal fingers separated by the green bar. When you depress the key, the fingers come together to make contact. ...lee
Opry99er
Oh yea... I just knew there were multiple types of keyboards.... most of mine look a bit different than this one, so I didnt know if this one was one of the good ones. Airshack
Any trick to pulling the key cap off without breaking it? Nice haul! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Edited February 13, 2018 by Airshack
Opry99er
Any trick to pulling the key cap off without breaking it? Nice haul! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Just use an index finger on each side of the key, depress the keys on either side with your finger knuckle, and start working it up, a little at a time. It took me about 30-40 seconds to work it off... dont use a screwdriver or anything, just finger pressure, slow and steady.

+Lee Stewart
My vote is a Stackpole. That is the manufacturer I was trying to recall. Stackpole is my vote, as well. ...lee
Opry99er
And boy, does it ever feel good!!!!! Nice crisp touch with a firm snap-back....First TI Ive ever had, though, where the keyboard strips dont slide into a guide... it has a sort of tray it sits in. ***EDITED to fix picture orientation*** Edited February 13, 2018 by Opry99er
Opry99er
Still dont know why this thing keeps flipping some of my pictures... I make sure the camera orientation is good, and the photo is right-side up in my gallery. No matter... you get the point.
jjh76
My tablet flips images too - but only if I try to upload them as-is. For some reason if I load them in Paint 3D they show right-side up and then if I save them I can then upload them without having them flip. When I was kid the TI we had used one of those trays too.
Opry99er
Dragged my Peripheral box out of the cold basement.... let it warm up at room temp for about an hour, and then gingerly plugged everything up. Initial indicators are good!!!

FDOS
Real TI hardware is always my favorite! Especially, those manufactured before 1984, and still work like new. Good deal.
