The annual BASIC 10 liner contest for vintage home computers is open to the VCS again!

Contest deadline: March 24,2018

http://gkanold.wixsite.com/homeputerium/basic-10liners-2018

The two eligible categories are 10 lines of 120 characters and 10 lines of 256 characters.

I entered last year with One Player Tron and the year before with 9LineBlitz and I'm hoping to enter again this year! :)

Hope some bB programmers will be encouraged to try the old-school BASIC mode of Flashback BASIC and SuperCharger BASIC to write a 10 liner for the contest! :)

The difference between old-school mode and modern (which is more like bB) is that no sound and graphics designers are available, just BASIC similar to what vintage home computers had.

Both modes are fun, but you can't use the designers for the contest.

There's always the original Basic Programming cartridge for the 2600.

Yes, you can use the BASIC Programming cart or Compumate BASIC to enter the programming contest.

The Compumate BASIC is much more powerful but some impressive tiny programs have been written with the BASIC Programming cart in just 10 statements which is a lot more limiting than 10 lines of n statements - reminds me of the BASIC one liner contests.
