His isn't bad at all, but yours captures more the feel of the original: it's closer to the right speed, has a mellower sound to the percussion and instruments, and gets the instrument doing the background arpeggios on the B-part sounding like it should (with that bit of echo). It sounds great on real hardware. I'm really glad you and Fragmare are converting all this NES music. I really appreciate music the NES sound chip can produce (and the approach and styles its composer's tended towards) -- especially over the SID, which gets so much attention here; so, it's a fresh and welcome change of pace.
