I havent played the game yet, but the manual doesnt mentions different skill levels, so I guess its without different modes. This round ends on 29th of April 23:59 CET. (back in '83) and yes exactly because of the island jumps. i will give it a try (but i don't think i will have a chance breaking the record), in the past i bypassed this thread but i'm back for playing now. besides the last game popeye was never my game, i never understood what the goal is, ah i dislike this ladder type of games at all, i never was a big friend of DK and anything else which followed. The end of this round should be 22nd and not 29th, so I gave three weeks for this game by accident. Let me know if I should change it or if you are happy either way. I am too busy to find much time for playing, unfortunately, because unlike Popeye this game is pretty fun. So at least a small score with 16.416. I havent really figured out yet if its a better tactic to crash as many cars for the bonus or to get as far as you can, but I guess especially in the later stages the bonus will stack up pretty much. mr_me Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 (edited) The best strategy is to crash zero cars and collect the bonus. You'd have to crash more than a 100 cars per roadway to do better. mr_me Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Actually, I think it's more like 60 or 70 cars. Still a lot of cars. It would be interesting see what the most cars crashed in a roadway is.
