+OLD CS1
Any official word on this year's Faire? Any chance you old farts will be able to keep up with me on the Pub Crawl this time 'round? Also note that this year will be the 2^5 Faire. Bump-biddy-bump.

+OLD CS1
http://www.chicagotiug.com/tiki-index.php?page=Faire Check the Yahoo! groups page for the latest event information. The 32nd annual Chicago TI International World Faire will take place on the weekend of November 1, 2014, in Evanston, IL. Thanks. Last time I checked it hadn't been updated. I gave up on the site. That, and I have given up on the fscking Yahoo! group, too. I do not know if it is something with my account or with Yahoo!, but I have nothing but trouble getting to it.
Tursi
Haven't heard anything about it yet, but, I'm out this year. Work is just not going to make getting out there doable.
majestyx
I agree with OLD CS1. Yahoo made those groups so user-unfriendly, I've pretty much given up on it, too. Terrible searching, too many useless views that make it even more confusing, and just an all around horrible interface equals killing a good idea dead.

Berry
The 36th Annual General Meeting of the TIUGUK The Texas Instruments User Group of the United Kingdom (TIUGUK) invites all computer users to our 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM). This meeting has been a yearly tradition of our group since 1983 and will take place on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of April 2019 at ‘The Swan in the Rushes’ Public House in Loughborough (England) and will be visited by TI users from the UK and Europe. The main item of the AGM will be the demonstration of the best hardware and software for the TI home computer. The pub has a wide selection of ales and beers and serves good meals and snacks. The admission to the AGM is free and on Saturday there is a free lunch for the visitors. On Friday and Saturday evening there will be a joint dinner in one of the restaurants of Loughborough. At the centre of Loughborough is a pedestrian shopping area called the Market Place that maintains a number of original art deco buildings. The ‘Rushes’ shopping centre near the pub is occupied by national chains and is easy to reach. At the side of the ‘The Swan in the Rushes’ pub there is a free parking area. The fairly frequent ‘Sprint’ bus service brings you in 5 minutes from Loughborough Railway Station to the ‘Rushes’. The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport with domestic and European destinations. The ‘Skylink’ bus connection has a bus stop at the ‘Rushes’, and only 100 yards from the ‘Swan’ pub there is a ‘Travelodge Hotel’ with very reasonable room rates.
