Whatever happened to Matthew Lesko? I never actually understood what the product or service was that was "free", I just remember that it didn't cost anything and I was supposed to be very excited about that. as a kid, he always reminded me of the Riddler

Ya ever get an envelope in the mail and right there it says, FREE GIFT INSIDE?  And you think,  What could it be?  Swing for the fences, is it a Dodge Viper or a Maserati Merak (SS of course)?  Nope...An Evercade game?  Not in an envelope,  But is it something cool like a gift card that's worth something?  Could be, happened to me the other day,  but that's rare...Look,  it's probably a magnet for your fridge or a cloth to clean your glasses.   Course you could just open it up!  Nawww I'll wait til tomorrow...

Damn, I literally just posted about Matthew Lesko then saw you made this an hour earlier. Maybe thats what he was trying to tell us about this whole time

    • The most current one from about a year or so ago (the redesigned one).     Like I said, if I expand the image so the blue BASIC screen fills the screen completely the top and bottom of the Incognitom SIDE loader screen are cut off a bit (not a ton, but several lines).  The sides seem to be ok.  I can take a picture tonight.
    • I think the last small version that was produced ticked off a lot of boxes as for options. Maybe some slight changes on the I/O options. A couple of other ideas: 1.  Support for USB ethernet/WIFI dongles so the Fujinet could emulated. 2.  Menu option for toggling emulation of artifacting for games that needed it. 3. Built in emulation for XEP80 4. Support for wireless USB keyboard dongle
    • I think you're right about the BASIC revision. I just tried Rev. C here and the game no longer runs. Odd that it works with Altirra 8K BASIC, though (kudos for Avery's compatibility work there). The installation instructions are in the manual provided with the Incognito firmware, and those instructions pretty much apply to flashing any slot (instead of navigating to the 'Firmware' or subordinate slots, go to the 'BASIC' slot and locate your desired 8K BASIC ROM using the file selector; you can do this straight off the CF Card's FAT partition).
    • @Tenorman Yeah, covering up the DSP connector pins rendered the rest of the board powerless.   I've not found Retro-Kids selling these but someone else who won't answer.  Plus they're now selling a much different looking variant.  I suppose you're either not using the Jaguar GD nor this multi-out any more?   I'm find performing the work but since the Jaguar GD isn't compatible with JagLink, I figured that I'd leave this alone as a standalone JagLink.   I've got a dedicated AV connector side for RGB SCART coming in a few days so anything I do on this Retro-kidz board should be non-destructive since one day I would actually like to experience Jaguar network play.
    • Not allows,  requires.   The people here who say that if you don't defend your copyrights aggressively, you will lose them are correct.
    • Which firmware version are you running? I redesigned the UI a year or two back and the loader and setup menu are dramatically less tall than in prior versions.
    • I can do that when I get home.  I think it's the file I got off of Fandal's site or possibly AtariMainia.  If I had to guess it's the BASIC version since I *think* this game needs Rev A and I'm using whatever comes with the Incognito XL/XE profile (which I assume is C).  You said that can be changed with UFLASH?  Is that in the instructions somewhere?  Rev A would be far more useful as some games require it but no game I know of requires Rev C (maybe some utility stuff I don't use).
    • Since you have Incognito, a fast way to duplicate ATRs is to mount the disk image using the Incognito Loader on one drive, and your real floppy on another drive number, and run a sector copier to duplicate the ATR on the actual floppy. The FAT-hosted ATRs read rather fast and you do away with the need for a second SIO device in the chain. I was proposing to implement a built-in means of doing Floppy->ATR and vice versa in the SIDE3 loader (there isn't room on the Incognito, unfortunately).

    • Does the Incognito loader screen display for PAL height or NTSC height?  I ask because so far it's the only thing that has displayed that high on my monitor.  Maybe @flashjazzcat can answer that?  I don't mind the top few lines of the Incongnito loader being cut off as it's just eye candy if it means I I can completely fill my screen top to bottom.
