I feel like anyone who claims to work more than two in jobs is full of it. At your primary job, there's times where you are expected to come in early or stay late. Or come in on a day you're normally not scheduled. There's no way you can satisfy the demands of three different companies. The second job will be somewhat lenient with your scheduling if they understand you have a primary job but it's nearly impossible to keep a third job going for any length time where you have to show up at a certain place at a certain time (and still manage to have a life)

Can anybody link me to how the heck crazy climber controls? I have a stick for it, but I'm garbage, and attract mode is zero help.
      1. ZippyOasys

It's a twin-stick arcade game akin to Robotron, one joystick controls the left arm & leg of the climber. Another joystick controls the climber's right arm & leg. Here's a gameplay video from Phosphor Dot Fossils, he explains how the game is controlled as he plays the game.

      2. Reaperman

That video doesn't explain any of the rules about how movement works. Either everybody sucks at that game, or it's just hard to teach. ...wait.. @Crazy Climber Help?
      3. Reaperman

It's really the side to side I have the most trouble with.  Sometimes it works great and I look halfway competent, but then sometimes the little guy just sits there because his arms are obviously in the wrong place.

    • This is great news. What about the programming for the controller chip?   Now, I just wish the feds had returned my whole nanoPEB instead of just the compact flash and adapter part.   As I always had in the back of my mind to make this device better with similar features of the Horizon Ramdisk.   At least I can study the code, just no way to physically test it on real hardware.
    • It looks like some of the on-line pricing guides now list TI cartridges and parts, and some sellers are not budging on the prices of commons.
    • So here is where I need some education, not being that familiar with what sophia2 provides to a PAL system. This is what I've gathered:  You have two NTSC 600XL boards you converted to PAL.  You know PAL 600XL composite output (on PAL manufactured boards) is great.  You even have a dead PAL 600XL you can use as a reference.   You did not install the passive components needed for PAL video because sophia2 provides these?  That's where I'm confused. According to the official, and probably not correct schematics, PAL boards should not have W2 and R140.  W2 being removed feeds into U24 and also needs a R120 pullup.  W2 is what ties the GTIA OSC line through the crystal Y1 and then feeds into GTIA PAL line.
    • When playing the game do you need to play one more time to make save happen?    Last night I got 7240 as seen above.  Today when I went to play the game it showed an old high score in the 6K range.  Today I got 7165, and then I played one more time after that.  I turned off console, turned it back on and my new high score is 7165.  So the save happened today.
    • Ok, you're probably right, I'm the projecting shill and Atari continues with their recent practice of carelessly slapping their IP on existing games. I'll head back to the gate and wait there for approval before I dare popping into a forum again to share my opinion.
    • I like both games.  Kaboom is more difficult for me.  But I still enjoy it.  It's one I want to get but I don't have any paddles yet.  I did preorder the stand alone pack.  Once that comes, I can start playing some paddle games such as Kaboom.  Also, Lost Luggage is like a clone of Kaboom.  And, it seems like Lost Luggage could've been a paddle game with how it controls.
    • All,   @InsaneMultitasker and I contacted Custodio Malilong who developed the Nano PEB and CF7 devices for the TI-99/4A to check what his current state was on development for the product.  Custodio has given his permissions to release the source files to the Nano PEB as he is no longer working on it or making updates.  So it is with great pleasure that Insane and I release the files we obtained from him to help anyone wanting to develop or improve or just see the method behind his madness.   Enjoy!       nanoPEB.s nanoSIO.s T16C550C.zip
    • Hello everyone, I'm writing this post to update you on the Dickstick situation: the project is taking longer than expected, but we are continuing to work on it and hope to be ready soon. Meanwhile, I leave you with some images, in which you can see the packaging of the Dickstick and part of its contents. The cumtroller will be inside a red velvet bag, which will be in a tall beige box. Always inside the box, you can find a poster in two different versions: one original and the other cummed (the cummed are personalized and therefore each is different from the other); on the back of the posters, there will be the instruction manual for the cummed version and issue 1 of the Alma Masturbater Magazine (a one-page magazine that reports the latest news on the world of Figo Beo and on new products arriving related to the brand) for the non-cummed version. Thank you all for your attention, see you soon! 🙂   Gianluigi Valgimigli
