Under my fingernail itches but I can't scratch it because there's this stupid fingernail in the way.
      1. carlsson

How far in? Perhaps a pencil or gently scratching with a precision screwdriver would work. Watch out though so you don't injure yourself.
      2. atari2600land

I used the end of a twistie tie I had laying around. I don't know why it itches, though. I guess skin anywhere can itch.

I used to get pain under my nails until I started cleaning them regularly. I researched that there can be fungus under the nails. The nail clippers with the little "pick" thing are hard to find. I mightve gotten mine on Amazon.

First I want to say a very big Thank You for the XB Compiler you created.  While using it I ran into an issue I hope you can help me with.  I have a program called MarbleMaze.  It loads a screen that was saved by using CALL GCHAR, then putting on a file on disk.  When I compile the XB program the screen loads with an extra character on the left side of the screen.  This then loses the character on the right side of the screen thus does not display properly.  It all works fine in Extended Basic.  Any help would be appreciated.  Let me know if you need additional info.
      1. senior_falcon

I would need to see the XB program. Also, a screenshot or two would be helpful so I know what to look for.
If you are reading from disk, remember that the only disk format supported is Display, Variable. The length can be anything.
      2. RedBaron

Ok Thanks.  Yes, the file I was trying to load is an Internal Fixed 40.  That is the issue.  I love your Compile program and plan on using it to compile my BOXMAN program for the TI.  I must have missed that part looking through the Documents.

    • That sucks. Congo was the hardest for me to get for my 125. (I want to say I paid $400 for it back in early 2000s). I know I've seen people get lucky and find it in lots. That would be your best bet imo. Keep looking. You'll find one.
    • Hi!  I have some Atari ST games in .STX format that I want to run.  A later version of Steem doesn't work.  Two earlier versions worked but didn't register the files.  Hatari doesn't offer an option to switch drives, and the images are on a different drive than the emulator.  How do I get the files to work?
    • If anybody here has cc65 and wants more memory for AtariXL programs, I have a library called MemXAtari.  It provides sections of the OS's memory that are not needed by most cc65 programs and has an option to provide 128k extra memory--I think the chip that handles that is Freddie.  Its memory layout assumes you are using DOS 2.0, so, if you're using another DOS, you will probably have to change the memory layout.  It uses AtaDisk65 to load in the stubs and the contents of the extra memory, so you may need that.  You can find MemXAtari at c65 additions - Manage /memory cfgs at SourceForge.net and AtaDisk65 at c65 additions - Manage /ui at SourceForge.net.  BTW, I am attaching a config file for the OP in hopes that he can use it to determine which memory areas might be usable. atarixl_small.cfg
    • DOS friendly version   With downloads, Chrome is blocking but seems to simply leave the file in the download folder as something like "Unconfirmed 198598.crdownload" and so you rename that back to the download name then it is fine. Or use a browser such as "Brave" alongside and copy the download link across to that.    mazeam_exomizer.xex
    • It also has the rare 1983 Mattel Electronics Canada dealer catalog.
    • Favourites in PCUAE on THEC64 has its own carousel gamelist so its not part of the main carousel gamelist, its so you can make your own list of favourite games that you want in the favourite carousel gamelist, I created it because I wanted certain games in it that I liked more then other games, in PCUAE Manager you can make 10 favourite gamelists if you want too so `Favourite 1, Favourite 2, Favourite 3....and so on up to... Favourite 10 but that because you can add more games and the games in the carousel it can show is up to 255 games per carousel gamelist and that all gamelists`... RGL could make it so Favourites has its own gamelist but the problem is you can not add any more games to the carousel so no point too, do not see the point of have favourites at the moment anyway its just sorts the gamelist that never changes because it only has 25 games on it, it need more games for favourites to work but that can be sorted if they add Favourite games from USB Game Saves made from USB Media Access so be able to add your own games to the carousel then and the carousel will be used more then too, that the whole point of having the carousel, too use it so not for Display Purposes only(not to make the console look nice, it meant to be a selling point). I say use USB Game Save from USB Media Access because they make a screenshot of the game as a png file when it save the game that can be uses as a cover in the Game Slot on the carousel, this way you do not need to make a generic cover png file to use in each Favourite Game Slot the carousel creates.
    • Ian Weeks (Tucasoft) announced this on Facebook, as his 2nd VCS release.
    • https://github.com/wavemotion-dave/ColecoDS   V9.7: 16-Apr-2024 by wavemotion-dave Fixed Colecovision RAM mirrors such that Boulderdash runs properly. The Heist now forces RAM to clear (all zeros) as it is known to be picky about contents of RAM on power up. Fix EEPROM sequential reads so Activision PCB games like Jewel Panic work correctly. Added the Wildcard and Print buttons on the virtual ADAM keyboard. All ADAM virtual keys should now be present. Added new configuration options to select the Colecovision mode to run in - you can force ADAM emulation, force PCB types, and set EEPROM sizes, etc. New global option to auto-patch for 'Fast BIOS' to force the 15 second wait down to 3 seconds. Minor cleanup and optimizations to the Adam core. ColecoDS is asymptotically approaching 100% compatibility. No emulator quite reaches that state of perfection but for classic and homebrew Colecovision carts (with and without SGM), I'd put ColecoDS at the arbitrarily precise 98.3% level. I have no scientific proof for this number - it's just a wet finger in the air guess.   Some users were operating with non-original BIOS to cut down on the 15 seconds of COLECOVISION banner time... and some of these BIOS files were a bit too drastic in their modifications and caused some compatibility problems. I strongly recommend you use the original Colecovision BIOS with a CRC32 of 3aa93ef3 - to that end, I've added a global option that will patch a single byte (in memory - leaving your original BIOS pristine) to drive the 15 seconds of banner display down to about 3 seconds. Slow enough that you get the nostalgic feels of the game "loading" but fast enough that you get on with your gameplay quickly.   Lastly - someone asked me recently what am I going to do when I get to the release after 9.9... of course I'll simply go to 10.0 - because, as it turns out, there are lots of numbers in the universe.
