Well my SVC Chaos PS2 never arrived, instead the seller sent me Namco X Capcom. Looks like he'll be getting this one back, not what I ordered.

The two best statements I heard today: "Oh, I rememebr you ... but I don't" and "I was assaulted by the police today, they used their force of authority on me."

Am I the only person here who didn't think Clayfigher 63 1/3 was even remotely bad? Come on, if you have Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, Tress McNeille, Dan Castellaneta, Rob Paulsen, and Charlie Adler from Chip 'n Dale and other late '80s-mid '90s Disney shows, at least Interplay did at least get something right.

I only played it on emulation (on a modded Xbox), but yeah it didn't seem bad at all to me. Maybe it wasn't Vampire Savior, but that's like comparing an episode of Perfect Strangers to Life of Pi.

I haven't played it, but ebay reviews have it at 4.5 Stars, which is pretty damn good!

I often pick up some Dead Guys because our nearby liquor store is always putting them in the ice barrel and selling them to me for $1 a can!!

What is the best flyid to clean records with that's cheap and readily available? I've heard Windex, sparkle, or isopropyl/distilled water mix.

I got something called "VinylStyl" at a record shop, it's some kind of solution and a felt-edged cleaning brush. I was about $15 and has worked great for me. I'm sure there are cheaper solutions but that wasn't too bad.

I've been using Mobile Fidelity Super Record Wash for 15+ years. Even when manually washing, it gets records cleaner than anything I've ever made/mixed myself.

I use Betco "Speedex". Been using it for years cleaning smokey-dirty 45s from jukeboxes. 1/3 in a spray bottle with water. Then rinse under very warm water because it rinses better than cold water. Dry with paper towels in the direction the record turns.

My little kitty (who's actually quite an old lady of 18 years), is sick and wouldn't eat. She underwent a minor surgical procedure resulting in Cyber-Kitty: a brand new bionic version, enhanced with an alternative liquid-fuel injection system

Finally got the mono verison of Are You Experienced? I was sure it would stomp the stereo version but it doesn't. It actually sounds like someone threw a blanket over my speakers.

A mono record can be mixed to sound great even though it's mono. Pet Sounds was mixed in mono and is fantastic.

lol I remember hearing AYE on MTV back in the day when they were "in stereo".. and for some reason all you could hear was the hard left side which had no guitar, just the monotonous piano chord. It sounded horrible (try it yourself and see). If that was anyone's first "experience" hearing him, I can't imagine they would have thought it was any good.

Huge Jimi fan here btw. More than most would expect :)

    Those wide pans of
"fake stereo" can rob a song of the energy that and driving momentum that the mono mix has.
