This is actually a point in favor of everyone he's scammed. Anyone remember the movie The Firm? I can't find the script online, so I'm not sure of the exact line but it was something like up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 fine for each count of mail fraud.

Question is.. is the mailing address he gives out real? Would make him rather stupid to give out all of his actual information.

Well for him to get his money, stuff the address would have to exsist and he'd have to have some way of getting the mail if it was say someone else's address. Why you want his address? He gave it to me when I was going to do a deal with him before this all came out.

I think he was saying "Why, you want his address?", not "Why do you want his address."  In other words, he was offerring to give the scammers address to the other person, not questioning why he would want it.

Actually I was just speaking rhetorically    you'd need an legitamate address to track this guy down if your gonna press charges and I think it'd be funny to read about this guy getting reemed by the law  

It just seems this guy thinks game collectors are idiots seeing as he's obviously been doing it alot. Who knows what other kind of collectors he's been preying on.

Weird. I started reading the DP thread, and saw that he had scammed someone from getting a Chip and Dale Rescue Ranger 2 game, and remembered there's another thread here about a game store somewhere that tried to sell someone that game for like $130 bucks!  Odd to see mention of that twice in one day!

Agreed. I would have never gotten here if it wasn't open to the public. Also, I was scammed recently by some guy named Jeff Merryman from Lock Haven PA. I did my due diligence and dug up all sorts of crap on him contacted my local police and somehow got most of my stuff back.  If it weren't for public forums I would have been stopped dead in my tracks at the beginning of my search and been forced to sit and stew in the fact that I got ripped off.

Well, whoever this was:bark40oz on this forum ripped me off $50! Told me he had a bunch of Atari games & then I sent him a money order and I've not heard from him since. This was well over a year ago at least. I mentioned it before when it happened and someone else said they got ripped too.
