Your version, as you described it, is the HES version from Australia.

No European version was made.

The original US NTSC Absoute Entertainment cart looks completely different.

Only game 8 and game 24 are not in v6 collection but Stella recognize them, so they have been already dumped before. They are identified by Stella as "Superman (1979) (Atari) (PAL) [a]" and "Seaquest (Unknown) PAL".

Yes, this is on my (never ending) TODO list.  The current version of address tracking is quite simplistic, and only considers one level of indirection (and not even all those cases, as you see by the TAX example above).  It needs to be expanded to cover all 1-level cases, but also where other registers (and temp RAM) are used as intermediaries.

I'm guessing the easiest way is have an array that holds all the addresses from stores to zero page, stack register, and maybe the timers. Every time an opcode is executed the opcode could be looked up to see if should pass an address, obtain a new address, or null out the address.

I believe these two roms looked suspect and removed from Rom's collection. See posts 404, 406, and 408 for Seaquest and posts 439, 442 for Superman. It's not a surprising result that some damage occurred while these were being pirated. Sometimes you see corrupted roms being pirated from company to company. Challenge springs to mind IIRC as being another one that looked like a bad dump, but other pirate companies also had the same corrupted rom.

Why the Raiders proto is still being neglected eludes me, but never mind.

Something else: Space Shuttle Secam has been found in Paris, France and the owner wants to dump the ROM (Thank God).

I had started to disassemble and comment it, but ran out of steam fairly quickly. I will say that it looked very close to the original, at least as much as I looked at it, although there were a few small differences that would make identical routines compile at different locations, thereby making a strictly binary comparison come up with more differences than there really are. For example, bank 1 of the prototype has two NOP instructions after the initial LDA $FFF8 that aren't there in the released version, so they throw everything else in bank 1 off by 2 bytes.

Eckhard, what sort of dumper did you use to dump the marine wars? I tried dumping this a while back on my 7800 dumper and couldn't get it to work....

I used my 7800 dumper and it worked fine on the first try. The Marine Wars cartridge was a tight fit though. I had to push it a bit harder to make it go in all the way and make good contact. Also I had taken the board of my 7800 out of it's case, because I had to fix something on it. That might have helped with fitting the cartridge into the slot as well.

That was probably it. I've been trying to dump the Atari 16-1 cart for ages and I cant get that to work either. I may try to remove the 7800 from the case and try again.  Thanks
