atarifan49
Anyone here with a good music background able to figure out the notes to the "Have you played Atari today"? Don't have much of an "ear for music" and would like to program the tune into my cell phone. Thanks,

I've tried doing the download feature with no luck. Most of the sites that have cell phone songs are geared towards the Nokia 5100 and other series. Also I wish the stores "Hot Topic" would carry phone covers for other models. They have a cool "Have you played" Atari cover for the 5100 series with the Fuji symbol on it. deadtech
Hello folks, I found a site that has some cool ringtones for Nokia (and maybe other, i didn't really check thoroughly) phones: (Note that they don't have any Atari related tones as far as i can see) http://arcadetones.emuunlim.com/ Also: Miles Prower, check out the "Misc" section, they have at least one Alex Kidd tone (I have never even used a mobile phone) -deadtech
bangles66
Great site. I'll have to see if I can get them onto my Kocera cell phone. I'll need to buy the software and cable adapter if i get the right format for my phone.

tiggerthehun
Hey there - just downloaded the commercial - thankfully the piano is right next to me... These are all naturals - no sharps or flats: D-D-D-D-F-E-D-C I hope that's what you were looking for.
tiggerthehun
Miles - if you send me some mp3s of the Alex Kidd songs you'd like translated into note form, I can do that for you. Might take a few minutes of plunking around, but I should be able to figure 'em out.

Dude you're awesome! You got an ear for music! I took the notes you gave above and experimented with the composer on my Nokia 3390. I was able to refine it to this (note notation used in phone): 8d2 8d2 8d2 8d2 8f2 8e2 8d2 8c2 with a tempo of 140 bpm. This equates to 8 = 1/8th note, letters are the notes, and the 2 is the next octave up. Now if I can only get an Atari logo on the phone as my screen saver and outer case with the Atari logo on it! tiggerthehun
Just remember there's a slight hold on the "E"...
atarifan49
Just remember there's a slight hold on the "E"... I tried making the E a 1/4 note but that didn't help. There's no other way in the phone to give an additional hold to a note. But I did change the last note from a 1/8 to a 1/4 and that gave it a little improvement. And even a 1/2 note isn't bad either.
