ST/E, TT and Falcon (and compat's.) users/owners...Where do you live

Recommended Posts

Am i the only one from Blighty??

London to be exact.

No, there are a few of us around. I know of people in Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and a couple like me from Cambridgeshire and there are a few more scattered around.

If you have not been to the Jagfest before why not come along and meets some us (see posts in Events or Jaguar forum for more info)

Another from Blighty(ish) here - The Isle of Man.

Although I still haven't managed to pick up an ST yet, so I'm currently emulating on Windows. There have been a steady stream cropping up on ebay, but I'm holding out for an absolutely pristine one.

Somewhat inspired by a similar thread on Atarilegend.com (forum section), begs me to ask the Question

Where do you came from

I will only be asking this in the A8/ST section as the other Atari sections are predominantly American/Canadian centric whereas it seems as though the A8/ST sections are fairly equally split

Granville Ohio and Epoufette Michigan. Lots of ST's Mega 4 Mega 2 1040st 520st, all the 8bits and lots of Atari arcade machines and the home consoles everywhere.

I grew up using both the Atari 8bit line and their 16bit ST series too, loved both!

I bought a new 520STFM in '87 to use with a color TV, collecting a huge library, but I got a 1040STE in 1991 with a working SC1224 monitor and a 40MB hard drive that quickly replaced it.

I have always lived in central MA, USA, just outside Worcester

Hey geosteve

that's great!

Gezz... We only live about a hour away from each other! Another Atari user!

Did you belong to any Atari user group back in the day?

I did, the WMAUG.. Western Mass Atari User Group.

Which i just found out was still active up till 95 or so.

Man I wish I stayed with the ST a few more years.

ohhh the big thing i wanted to ask you....

I remember going to this:

Did you?
