If it's there, you'll have the rest of the primary serial (DA 75????) although it won't list the final 3-digit number (production week). It's possible that the production week number is stamped on the mainboard, though, as it seems I'd seen it there on some of my 1200XL family. --Tim On the bottom of the circuit board, there is DA 113995 and on the top there is a sticker with DA 143 Rev A. All but two were purchased off eBay. All but 3 had the typical mylar issues, of course. Most of them were purchased in excess of $190 US dollars (ouch!). I had to pass on one that was being offered recently for $199, however, due to some other purchases I had made to flesh out my Atari collection--but looks like someone grabbed it at that BIN price. A 1200XL, fully restored, was eBay-listed by AtariAge's very own Paul Westphal, a couple weeks ago but never sold. Just a cable won't be enough unless you have a monitor that can handle NTSC composite/s-video signals. Just for yuks I grabbed a 400 power brick and plugged the machine into my 'test' TV....and it works! Auto detected NTSC and ran with it. Only half a dozen keys work though so there's work to be done.
