harveymush
I read somewhere (can't find it anymore) that a group were trying to port tos/mint over to pc hardware, I don't mean as a emulation but as the main os for that system, just wondered if anyone had heard if they had completed it as this would give us a very powerful Atari Clone, I know it wouldn't be the same as using our beloved Falcons but you could make a very cheap and fast Tos machine if it did work. Atari060
Look at http://aranym.atari.org . This is nearly what you are looking for.
harveymush
yeah i have used it before and its pretty good, but what i mean is tos/mint becoming something like linux has become, where you get a distro on cd or download it and install it as the main os on your hardware. Christos
You can probably forget about magic since it's dead. The story about MiNT is that it will become non dependent to the Atari architecture so porting it to the x86 or ppc or coldfire will be easy. However if you need to run any atari apps you will need some form of emulator. I believe that aranym with JIT is the best bet.
