Deteacher
Wow! Atlantis II is practically impossible! I only managed a measley 345. If I can break 500 points, I'll consider myself lucky.
PressureCooker2600
Damn....this sucks.....I can actually kinda catch up to ya'll on Atlantis II. The second time I played it, I got 305. I can't even break my Atlantis hi-score of 73,300. This gets me steamed.
Blackjack
Christ! A2 is hard! It's not just insanely fast, but because of the different ship speeds, you can't get any rhythm going.

Blackjack
Ok, I'm done for the week. I got 512 on A2 and I admit it was LUCK and luck ONLY! As soon as the ships hit top speed, I'm not even playing, I'm just watching my random shots while I die. Final Scores: Atlantis....... 1,084,600 Atlantis 2.... 521 if it even counts. toymailman
Blackjack, it looks like you got 521 on A2 instead of 512. The ship speeds at that point make me go cross-eyed too! I got a little better Atlantis II score as well.

Yes, they will make you crosseyed at that point. Thanks for pointing that out for me.

Kurt_Woloch
OK... I managed to improve my best... but not by far, as compared to the other members all rolling the score. Didn't manage to do that, but... 58200
Captain Beard
47,900 is the best I seem capable of mustering. I just this morning got back from an 18-hour drive (I went to a friend's wedding in So. Carolina, hence my late-entry in this week's event) and I'm sure as shit not digging the camera out of the suitcase just to prove it. Christophero Sly
I've never been any good at this game. Evidently, it's a game that can be mastered with a little practice. I'd like to get there someday. Unfortunately, I just don't have enough free time this week. 56,
Deteacher
I managed to improve on my A2 score a little. 366. Maybe with a little luck, I can break 400. We'll see...time is running out. EDIT: 471! Whoo hoo! Still not overtaking the 500 club members, but getting closer. Edited October 9, 2007 by Deteacher

Ze_ro
That's the end of this weeks competition. Congratulations to everyone on their scores, and I hope you'll join us for our next game: Turmoil! --Zero
Impaler_26
I couldn't improve my best score but i had lots of fun playing Atlantis!
Ze_ro
I have some more thoughts. Instead of everyone that breaks the 1 million mark tying for first place with an effective score of 999,999. We could have those individuals submit scores for Atlantis II as tie breakers. I've awarded some bonus points for Atlantis II scores... It's good to see that the spirit of competition remains even when I'm not paying close attention --Zero
theking21083
I think I figured out how the scoring works. For every 100,000 points it gives you 10 points on the end of your score after you die. Notice the people who got in the 900,000 had 90 at the end and my score was in the 200,000 point range wich game me a 20, Keilbaca was in the 100,000 with an added 10 and when deteacher posted his score when it was in the 500,000 point range it had a 50 at the end. That is a weird bug. Also when you roll the score it has a number in the ones place representing the # of times the score was rolled but upon death it disapears. I just noticed this so if it is old news then just ignore my rambling. Edited October 12, 2007 by theking21083
