So far I've found 250 with the following missing:

Please check Atarimania.

Game cartridges:

http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search

Utility/Apps cartridges:

http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search

Most of the entries come with scans of the cart itself, manual and box. :)

Yes I found quite a few there Thanks - but the one's left I couldn't find.

Atarimania has a lot listed as missing, or has a .atr .com or .xex file but no .bin, and sometimes has a box shot but no cart picture.

De Chiffres is here it's a ROM file, I think that's the same as a BIN, i'm not 100% sure

Looks like a few of the scans are from my site, can I have a big up on the front page? Want to increase to my traffic to more than 50 visitors per month

check here for Sparta:

http://www.magelair.com/atari_8bit_stuff.html

R-time8 as far as I know has no program internal - just a clock module that is accessible to Spartados through the command line. Also same with EasyScan II, Super Pill and Super Cart by Frontrunner - no program just logic chips.

I have the following carts that I didn't see listed (or you list as needing scans) and can scan any you like if you let me know what you want. Also am trying to dump a few of these. I'll attach the MSI Microprinter System for 800 rom here so you can try it. Not much to it except a program to print prescription labels. It was designed to sell to pharmacists but the company folded before any copies were sold. As far as I know, only my two demo versions exist. Doubt they would be worth much since they are not games.

400/800 SALT Diagnostic cart 2.05 (homemade looking label but cart purchased from a service center)

Atari Games - James Bond/Pitfall/Kaboom (pirate)

Atari Games - River Raid/Pac-Man/Missile Command/Frogger (pirate)

AtariMax 8mbit Flash cart

Austin 80 SWP ATR8000 Console Term (homemade from purchase of ATR8000)

Easy Scan II

Educational System Master Cart by Dorsett (different label)

Ft. Apocalypse

Hollex Cartridge

K-razy Shootout by CBS (not K-Byte)

Magic Dump II

MPP Microfiler (different label)

MPP Smart Terminal (different label)

MPPSupercharger w/Assault Force 3-D

MSI Microprinter System for 400

MSI Microprinter System for 800

Nightstrike

Pronto: The Home Information System

Realsports Football

Sea Chase

Sparta Dos X (ver. 4.20)

Super Cart by Frontrunner

Super Pill

I haven't looked right through the whole list, but is edit 6502 in the list? no idea who made this cart. It also has a disassembler disk file as well. I used to have it long time ago.

Thanks for the info about r-time8 etc. I'll re-arrange the page to reflect that.

It would be great if you could take pictures of least these ones:

Ft. Apocalypse

MPPSupercharger w/Assault Force 3-D (is it possible to dump this? - interresting game)

Nightstrike

Realsports Football (is this the same as Atari Football?)

Sea Chase

I hadn't thought about alternative labels but could list them as well (for completeness) .

Is there a method to get utility roms (like the MSI one) to run in Atari800win plus - I haven't managed to get many to run?

I missed the MPP one there. It is basically a math-coprocessor from my understanding so no actual code in it either. I'll scan those carts this evening and send them over to you. The MSI rom I attached should run under an emulator without any trouble but it is only for an 800 so I believe it should be set for 60Hz, OSA (maybe B) and 48K. I would also turn off any patches. I also have a 400 version of the cart as you can see from the list but it continually crashes after displaying the menu. Not sure how much actual functionality you will get out the rom regardless but thought I would throw it out there for everyone.

James

No - The nearest to that is Assembler editor. The list is in alphabetical order so it's easy to scan for a cart.

- PJ

I will have to see if I can find it. Thought I had some instructions for it as well. May take me a while to dig it up.

The cartridge isn't software...

There are some unique dumps on our site that you're missing as well (some not listed anywhere else). We should have four or five other ROM files that haven't been uploaded yet, I need to look for them.

That's a really nice presentation of Atari 8-bit cartridges, very impressive.

I noticed the sawed-off cartridge casings in pictures of three of the Romox games: Ant Eater, Attack at EP-CYG-4, Princess and Frog. Are there models of Atari Home Computers that could not accomodate certain style cartridge casings?

Also, I didn't see Gold Mine by Spectravideo in your list, that rare game has sold on ebay a few times in the last year.

The 1200XL is the only one that had a slightly different cart port. Look at the Magic dump cart.

The 2 small cutouts match what is in all cart ports except the 1200XL. If the bit of plastic between those cutouts is to long, the cart won't fit properly.

The sawen off ones i assume the ones you can see connector stickimg out of the bottom of the plastic case has been designed that way. no idea why.
