Spector
Anyone know where I can find a list of the cart releases in cat no. order ie.CX2601 Combat, CX2602 Air Sea Battle etc. Also, when was it during these Atari releases that Activision broke away and started releasing all their games? I must go through my bins and make sure I have a complete...no, no, no, that way lies madness.. But still...... CF, who really does like to play more than collect, dammit.... MattyXB
I think the list is not correct. There are some errors I think. Submarine Commander CX2647 ER is released only by Sears. White Water Madness CX26184 UR is never released I think. And some things are not complete. By some is NR missing. But it's most complete I think. Room 34
I'd just like to point out that the model number sequence is not the order of release (in case you didn't know). I am still trying to find out if anyone has a list of when all of the games were released. You can get close to such a list by looking chronologically through the game catalogs Atari released. For what it's worth, I also have a checklist page on my web site with all 2600 games made by Atari and Activision, in order by model number. Also, since this is my obsession, here are the first 9 Atari 2600 games released, with their catalog numbers: Combat CX2601 Air-Sea Battle CX2602 Star Ship CX2603 Indy 500 CX2611 Street Racer CX2612 Video Olympics CX2621 Surround CX2641 Blackjack CX2651 Basic Math CX2661 And finally, I should point out that there were actually 3 CX26xx numbers assigned to games released only by Sears (which of course did not use those numbers in its catalog, but the numbers were still reserved by Atari): Steeplechase CX2614 Stellar Track CX2619 ...and the aforementioned... Submarine Commander CX2647
