Charlie_
I'm in search of the little adapters for the coleco Gemini that make the joystick button work the way it should in paddle games. Please PM me if you have these to sell! -Charlie
BigO
This is for use with the combination controller where you have to do something goofy like move the joystick right to fire when playing a paddle game? I didn't know these existed. Was it an original equipment thing or aftermarket? (If you want them for playing and not for completing an original package or whatever, that should be a relatively easy adapter to put together.) Charlie_
Yes, I think it was more like a Y adapter that made the button work instead of pressing right. Also allowed 2 sticks in the 1st port just like a paddle set. I'll have to get the manual out and take another look. I can scan it if there is an interest. If that's really what it was intended for, I'd certainly be curious to know what game was able to take advantage of that configuration. Making the adapter to switch the wires around so that the joystick fire button acted as the paddle fire button should work, but you'd have to add a switch or remove the adapter to use the joystick fire button again. I'm mildly curious to see the information on this gizmo that you have.

It basically merges two of the paddle/joystick controllers to act as a set of paddles. So any game that uses paddles works with the adapter. I was thinking joysticks when Chaz said "sticks". If you plugged two joysticks into that you'd get almost zero functionality. But, by plugging in two of the "combo" Gemini controllers you'd be able to play two player paddle games. To steer the thread back toward its intended purpose, I don't have any of these for sale.
