Tips

PressureCooker2600:

One of the best tips I can give is to stand at the edges of the screens and trick the dumbass cavemen to walk off the edges. Helps out a lot when there are tons of cavemen.

LarcenTyler:

-If you see a pineapple, make a beeline for it. Then snack on those cavemen. As soon as you eat three or four, they'll start being worth 80,000 (?) points a bite, making for major points!

-Remember your dinosaur doesn't automatically stop walking, so keep an eye on him, otherwise you could wind up walking off the edge of the screen or into the hungry clutches of a caveman.

-It takes two punches to knock a caveman out, but it's worth it.

-Avoid mushrooms like the plague! They only slow you down.

That doesn't always work for me. My tips are as follows:

-If you see a pineapple, make a beeline for it. Then snack on those cavemen. As soon as you eat three or four, they'll start being worth 80,000 (?) points a bite, making for major points!

-Remember your dinosaur doesn't automatically stop walking, so keep an eye on him, otherwise you could wind up walking off the edge of the screen or into the hungry clutches of a caveman.

I played this game back when it came out on the NES. Loved it's take on the old Pac-Man maze-runner genre......always wished I coulda played the arcade version.

I never heard of it before either. Too late for a score, but I tried it out and it's pretty fun. Glad it came up.

Just wanted to give everybody a tip on this game if it is ever played again. I owned this game as a kid and have lots of practice playing. I got a score last night of 66,352,505.

TIP: Every level but the first and the bonus stages, has a secret warp that sends you ahead 3 stages and gives you 300,000 bonus points. If you look at the bottom right corner when the stage starts you will see an egg shine for a second. That egg must be obtained last without losing a life and a warp will open up.
