Goochman
Almost makes me cry looking at some of these great 8bit games that never made it and then compare these to the crap that was released (can you say EA C64 conversions suck!) Graphics look awesome on this one

Goochman
Heaven, I was an avid 8bitter during the day and remember NOT playing alot of the Activision titles on my 800 since most of them were direct ports from the 2600 (River Raid being the exception with a few more bells and whistles) Chopper Command would've been fun to play but I got alot enjoyment playing Zepplin, Defender, Protector and Drop Zone would could be considered advanced variants of the Chopper COmmand theme
Jetboot Jack
Oh well - geocities has killed my site - too many hits - working around that now If anyone has some space to spare for a little 8bit archive - let me know How does 8bit SOTB compare to the other verions - well our plan was to have something better than the C64 version. In this demo the main sprite animation is incomplete (short run cycle and no punch/kick) and the underground sections are VERY rough and unfinished, no vertical scrolling when you move up and down etc... But - our original plan included: Character based "Software Sprite" enemies with overlaid sprites/missiles for color and extra resolution. Parallax on the above ground sections - using sprites for distant objects behind the foreground. Entire game in one load from tape, disc version to feature "intermission" screens like the Amiga/ST. All the music from the Amiga version (by Orall Cornelius). sTeVE
Jetboot Jack
As geocities has closed the site for bandwidth overload try: http://hometown.aol.com/jetbootjack/myhome...page/index.html sTeVE
