NEW Phaze Zero Box!

Nice professional design.

Two things I would change on the front:

1.) Have some "action" on the ship (weapons or maybe fire/explosion.) On the back of the box, you have something coming out of the engine/exhaust, and it looks sharp.

2.) How about some kind of color outlining the "PHASE ZERO" letters? Maybe some kind of bright yellow/orange bordering the red letters, to make them stand out.

Excellent work.

Good luck on your future projects.

;)

Your boxes all look professional, no doubt, but I too dislike the Hasbro Atari fuji. If you are not going to use the original fuji design, I'd at least use the current Atari Corp.'s "bell-bottom" fuji. The Hasbro version that you are using was used for the LEAST amount of time, and strays the furthest from the true original fuji.

The trouble for me is, I love all your boxes for the games that don't have boxes, but for the games that already have boxes, the only one I prefer over the original is AvP, the rest just aren't as good, IMHO, as the originals. They also don't represent the games as well in the content. I still prefer Songbird's Phase Zero box. How about trying Skyhammer? That's a box I didn't care as much for, the picture is too blurry since it was a screen pull.

I like the backs of your boxes, but I still prefer the original layout style of Jaguar box backs.

I guess it's just the general trend in collecting about box protectors, boxes looking good on shelves, etc. This hobby has become more about "preservation" than sitting down and actually enjoying something. Which I guess is good for me as I have a ton of mint games to sell now that I'm paring down :)

Yeah, I'm guilty of a lot of my collection being window dressing, but I do intend to sit down and play most of my games at length at every opportunity.

Wow! I not gonna tell you about mint boxes but how I played this game last night!!!! Oboy, I first turned left then right and then they came for me... noo, I thought! But I didn't give up, and then I thought how delightful it is that I sit here and ENJOY a game and even share my wonderful gaming feelings with YOU, while most people think of mint boxes.

See y'all at the next necrobump!

I find most people don't care about my gaming feelings /or/ appreciation of mint boxes. Still have fun collecting and playing though. = )
