Ed Siegler
Newbie here... I have heard that there were four games issued thru the Atari Club with three of them being Quadrun, Waterworld, and Crazy Climber. Does anyone know what the fourth one was? Thanks for the help. ATARIPITBULL
I have two of these, Waterworld & Crazy Climber, but there is no way I'm going to spend $1000 on a Quadrun.
Ed Siegler
Hey, I appreciate it. I had no clue whatsoever what it was. I actually picked up a Quadrun today on EBay, which I guess makes the collection. Thanks for the answer.

I guess there were five. Someone already pointed out Gravitar. But there was also the Atari Video Cube.
Ed Siegler
Didn't know that one was a club game. After poking around, I actually just have the red label Gravitar, not the silver one. Damn, something else to poke around on EBay for.
MattyXB
I think there are 6, but I am not sure. Tempest has list them all on his site: Atari Fan Club Exclusives Atari Video Cube Crazy Climber Gravitar Quadrun Rubik's Cube SwordQuest WaterWorld I own only WaterWorld, and search all other ones.
Atari 7800.com
Aren't Atari Video Cube and Rubic's Cube the same game?
MattyXB
Aren't Atari Video Cube and Rubic's Cube the same game? Yes, it was later renamed. First it was called Atari Video Cube. Later it was released again under a diffrent number and name as Rubik's Cube.

All I know is that it was the Atari Video Cube that was offered through the Atari Game Club. It was never offered under the Rubik's name through the club. SS
Hey, was "Crazy Climber" ever offered for retail sale? I remember reading in AtariAge that "it will be at least six months untill this game is availible in stores but AtariAge members can get it now" (or something close to that). Did it ever hit the shelves or was the plan a victim of the crash / Tremmels?
Scott Stilphen
There's only 4 AA exclusive titles: Atari Video Cube Crazy Climber Gravitar Quadrun Matty has it right. Atari Video Cube was an AA exclusive, and later released (to the public) as Rubik's Cube. It was never available through AA as Rubik's Cube. Gravitar was the only other title I believe that was later released to the public (years later). Swordquest Waterworld was not an exclusive title. MikeMika
Was Video Cube available to the public, officially? I purchased mine from Odd Lots (Michigan Close Out Store) for the meager price of $1.99. It was in a bin of about thirty of them. ATARIPITBULL
I have both the Atari Video cube & Rubiks cube games, but I did not know that the Atari Video cube game was a Atari club members game?
Scott Stilphen
Mike: I don't think it was "officially", but I'm guess that the fact that you got yours from Odd Lots probably just means that whatever Atari had left in stock (that they didn't sell through the club) got dumped onto the retail market with all their other games. MikeMika
Thanks, Scott! You know what, you're right. I went with my Dad as a wee lad and also brought my friend along. My Dad said they had a lot of games for cheap. I walked away with Video Cube and he walked away with (I am 99% certain) the silver label Gravitar, which I also did not know was a club exclusive. Back then, you didn't throw around $1.99 too lightly, or I would have purchased both! (I later inherited his Gravitar, Crazy Climber and extra Video Cube to make the happey ending). If I only knew then what I know now. Mike
Scooterb23
Apparently they didn't make enough boxes for Atari Video Cube, when I got mine "back in the day" it came in a Dodge 'Em box...for 99 cents. Dodge 'Em box, Dodge 'Em instruction manual...Atari Video Cube cartridge. At the time I was so mad, because I wanted Dodge 'Em!!!! Now I have 6 Dodge 'Em's, and I want Atari Video Cube!!!!!!!!!
